We were lucky as we were allocated a room at the rear of the hotel with stunning views The staff were extremely helpful and we had a fantastic stay. This was our first trip to the dales, and were blown away by the location of the hotel, the local businesses etc. A huge thank you for a wonderful trip.

The property was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was a combination of a buffet and cooked to order. There was a good choice and plentiful. Hawes itself suits adults better than children although the Wensleydale Cheesery is good for all ages.

Have stayed here twice before though not in recent years. Small hotel in the centre of Hawes, ideally situated, cosy and welcoming, comfortable beds, nice views and reasonably priced. However, it is starting to look tired. First impressions count and I noticed all the paint was coming off the front door. In our bedroom, the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and the trim under the shower screen (bath/shower) was green and broken - consequently the shower leaked all over the floor and ran into the bedroom, taking all our towel supply to mop it up. We mentioned this and were assured it would be repaired that day but it had obvs been like that for some time. Finally - the carpet in the breakfast area was filthy and stained. Such a shame. I hope the owners do some upgrading; we would love to return but at the moment I’m not sure that we will.

Super Hitel in the centre of Hawes

Very welcoming. Lovely room and smart TV. Breakfast was excellent and opportunity to get 20% off meals and drinks at the neighbouring pub was unexpected.

We loved the hotel and where it was so handy for shops and places to eat. The bed was comfy and loved the room. The staff were nice. The room just needed a curtain that would stay up and the carpets just needed a clean. Cant wait to come back.
