Visited as we had a family funeral with the wake being held at the Bannatyne hotel. As a family we couldn’t recommend it more, we were given a room upgrade which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with great choice for everyone. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel went beyond our expectations. On arrival met by friendly helpful staff. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and on ground floor as requested. The gardens are amazing. Dinner in restaurant was very enjoyable. There is ample free parking at the hotel and also has a spa (extra charge) attached. Im not sure how far the nearest station was as we were there by car which enabled us to visit various places. Every member of staff were helpul and friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to revisit this hotel.

This was a great stay and hope to book in the future! The rooms are larger than expected and the hotel staff were so kind. The only issues was that the elevator (lift) was not working the whole stay which made it hard to carry luggage.

The highlights were the size of the room and the breakfast (the bacon was particularly delicious). The big draw back was that access the swimming pool was a £20 extra charge per adult and £10 for a child which wasn’t particularly clear at the point of booking.

Lovely Romantic stay

We enjoyed our stay at Bannatyne spa hotel. The executive double room was spacious and relaxing with a queen sized bed. The spa/leasure facilitates were very good. Just a shame we had to pay extra for that.
