"Dale has created an oasis in the hills.Strategic planting of trees and herbaceous plants.The placement of boulders around the pool and spa area.Speaking of the pool, it was a highlight of my trip. Saltwater, 6 foot deep end & a great way to start and finish your day.The Kitchen is well stocked for all your needs.There are several terraces outside to enjoy the views.I saw 2 bighorn sheep on my first night!!Dale is a great Host and was always available if anything needed attention.Overall, an awesome experience.Cheers."

"I wanted the heat of the desert (108) with an unobstructed view of Joshua Tree enjoying the serene silent solitude that only the desert offers...well, provided by an incredible host with a meticulous eye for decor and comfort (an earth bed! Amazing) with a gorgeous cabin. Supremely comfortable for one or two. I danced in the pool under a full moon letting the desert energy restore me. The rest of my healing came from sitting on the covered patio that felt like a true western dream (sans horses and all but silent desert things) Every luxury provided. I even did my laundry! Oh, and there's a stargazing hottub in an oasis setting that I'm headed to now! I've truly found my perfect retreat. I might even share it with my wife!"

"The hosts were amazing. They made themselves available whenever possible and were very attentive through out our stay. The inside accommodations were great, the bedrooms were beautiful. It was a bit dusty, but nothing to prevent us from going back. The only thing that I wish would have been more clear is that the pool was an above ground pool and although it seems like a big lot, the neighbors were actually closer than we expected. But would 100% stay there again. Thank you."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is absolutely beautiful! We listened to records each night and soaked in the hot tub after our hikes. We did some star gazing with the telescope and climbed the boulders behind the house to watch sunset. Sunrise from the porch was beautiful!"
