"Loved our stay! Dale is an excellent and attentive host. Property was very clean and well equipped. Dale met us and showed us around. The house is in a great location approximately equidistant from both Joshua Tree entrances. The sunset views were really special (especially from the hot tub)! Our son loved seeing the small wildlife around the house, including a squirrel making a home under the front tree and various lizards. We had an orange-crowned warbler fly into the kitchen glass door but gave him some granola and he flew off on his way. Plenty of parking and easy to find - we had groceries delivered from Stater Bros with no issue. The pool is HUGE - we were genuinely surprised by the size and it very refreshing after hot days in the park. Plenty of towels, including beach towels for the pool, and a nicely stocked and clean kitchen. Highly recommend!"

"We rent properties often and this one has the best home decor we’ve seen at this price point. Quite the bargain actually. Aside from everything being super clean, it was very well decorated. Tasteful and timeless. Keep doing this! Everything worked as advertised, no issues at all. It was a comfortable stay the entire time with our two adult children and our fur babies. Plenty of space to relax and with all the right feng shui to bring us together for family dinners and activities. We had a blast and can’t wait to do this again!"

"It's an aged motel but the rooms are well kept, clean, comfortable and have character. Really nice pool and views of the desert. Apparently U2 stayed in room #4 when writing the album Joshua Tree - that's pretty cool and it was a good album. Just on the outskirts of 29 Palms so it's in a good location for a peaceful evening and night's sky. The staff member on duty was great and very helpful also the manager was nice and accommodating. Would recommend when staying in the area - only 10-15 minutes or so from Joshua Tree National Park entrance."

"Ignoring a few hiccups, we overall had a blast! Host was extremely responsive and very lax on check-in and check-out which was really appreciated. Too often these Vrbo hosts charge all kinds of fees and require you to do all sorts of chores which is ridiculous (Artur is not one of those, very nice!). Anyways, here is a breakdown of our experience:Pros: excellent responsiveness as aforementioned, we enjoyed the house and overall property, amenities were nice. Quiet, peaceful, remote location, yet nearby some good shopping & groceries. Awesome TV and speaker, pool was great, loved the modern design themes. Would highly recommend for stargazers looking to have a nice basecamp near JT park.Cons: issue with game room 'ikea fold out', which was a miscommunication we were able to work out. It is a regular couch...- the night's sky images in the post are misleading. Yes, you can see far more stars than a city here, but the purple and blue coloring are extremely edited- we had pool cleaners come by unannounced during our stay on the 2nd day. They didn't ring the doorbell to ask to go into the backyard, and let themselves in. When I talked to them they seemed like they knew they shouldn't be there. I don't necessarily fault the host for this, and he was kind enough to provide some refund for this odd experience.-the water heater was very weak and many days we had to just deal with lukewarm showers. Probably fixable with tinkering, but we didn't feel like doing that on vacation."
