This place is cute! Compared to the larger chain motels in the area, I would choose to stay at El Rancho Delores every time due to the vibes. For such an affordable stay, the quality of the motel was very impressive!

clean nice room. Excellent pool. We liked the car port ... other than the surface was sandy. Easy to walk to a couple of dinner options ... but don't wait too late as things close early.

Staff was friendly and rooms were equipped with amenities. However, once the sun went down we realized our room was infested with cockroaches. This was due to a gap under the front door. Our stay was during the middle of summer, but this situation could have been easily avoided with proper maintenance of the building. After reading more reviews I realized this was a common experience. It did indeed ruin our stay.

It was surprising how big the kitchen area was, including a 3/4 size fridge, a stove, a microwave and even a 2-seat eating area, in the room! Parking in front of the door, and the entire staff was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

What a gem! Clean,quiet,affordable. GREAT pool! I cannot say enough about the wonderful lady who runs the place, she was so kind, and made us feel right at home.
