Beautiful 2 Bedroom Apartment in the heart of Split. Stunning view of Peristil

There are very few apartments like this in Split. You are literally in the centre of some of Split's most famous sights.

As you enter the apartment you will be greeted by a beautiful open plan kitchen, dining and living area. As we are located beside the Peristil, every window has a stunning view of the unique Old Town.

There is a very large master bedroom and a twin room for guests to sleep. Each bedroom has it's own unique view of Split.

While neither bedroom has an ensuite, there are two full bathrooms in the apartment.

You can see the architecture from your living room and bedrooms, while the restaurants, museums and bars are on your doorstep.

There is a small terrace above the apartment that is shared with the other two apartments in the building.

The famous Riva is two minutes walk away and the local ferry and bus terminals are 5 to 10 minutes walk making this the perfect location to explore Split.

Bacvice and Marjan are also a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

Brilliant service!

Pro: Overall the apartment is clean and in a great location. Cons: Host was unresponsive via messages and calls, forgot about booking and never showed up for check in. Air con in living room and bedroom squeal at a high pitch. May not bother some people. WiFi went off after a couple of hours of check in but host never responded to any further messages throughout my one week stay. There were few roaches appearing in the bathroom but to be expected in a city center apartment maybe The beds are comfortable but the crinkly nana bed protectors not so much.

Perfect location, great A/C

Fantastic apartment for two couples. Comfortable beds, roomy living room and very welcome air conditioning after a hot day exploring. Our host was responsive and helpful (including quickly declogging a slow-draining shower). The views onto the peristyle are excellent! We cooked many meals (with fresh fish and produce from the local markets) and ate them on the rooftop terrace. A memorable and outstanding place to stay.

Great apt in historic center of Split

This 2 bd/2 ba apartment is right in the center of Split, within easy walking distance to all the major sites. It's very clean, well equipped, and well appointed. The property manager is very responsive and easily reachable by phone for any questions. Grocery stores, markets and bakeries are within 2 blocks. Highly recommended. Only downsides: 6 a.m. church bells across the street.

Modern apartment in the old city of split. Excellent location close to everything. All modern furnishings with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The smaller shower didn't drain very well but we used the the larger shower anyway. Very safe environment. Geat to open the windows and look out on the square. Would highly recommended to others. Laundry was a nice option to considering it was on the back end of our trip. Loved it.

An excellent apartment in an excellent location!

My friend and I were delighted with the quality/furnishing/equipment of the Peristil apartment. We loved the proximity to everything going on outside- the restaurants, the markets and of course the ruins of Diocletian's Palace. Such a buzz! Other people have mentioned the volume of bells but we barely noticed them, only in a good way. It was lovely having a little outdoor space too- it was a great place to watch all the goings-on and sip a gin and tonic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Peristil and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful apartment in great location

We loved staying in this apartment! It is right within the walled palace. The furnishings are very high end, with everything you'd want. Great little roof top deck, too. Thanks also for arranging our ride to the airport. One caution on the apartment: due to the location there is some outside noise: live music at night and church bells ringing on the early side in the morning. This didn't bother us much, but if you're sensitive to noise this may not be the right spot for you.

Fabulous apartment in fantastic position!

Apartment Peristil is exactly what it says on the box ... and more! The apartment is right inside Diocletian 's Palace and every single room (except the bathrooms) has windows overlooking the ancient buildings of the Peristil and the Bell Tower. It literally could not be in a better position! The apartment itself is spacious and light and airy. Super comfortable beds with lovely crisp bedlinen. A huge sofa and TV. Two proper shower rooms with lots of hot water and a very well-equipped kitchen.

The location is fantastic, just inside the walls of the palace. There is a roof top terrace on which to sit and view the city. Note that the apartment is up three flights of stairs and there is no elevator. The bedrooms and living area are a good size, better than most. It was very clean. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other 2 twins. There are two full bathrooms just outside the bedrooms. The kitchen has a refrigerator and a freezer. (You can make ice cubes.) There is a washer/dryer all in one. The host met us there.

Fantastic

The location was the absolute best. Hey he apartment was spacious and great for our group of four. The bonus was the rooftop terrace. So many great places to tour and also eat. The ferries to ge islands were just a hop skip and a jump away. For anything out of old town we easily got an Uber. Parking was not As bad as we expected. We found a lot close to the golden gate and it was easy to find from there ( just look for the restaurant Portofino). AC worked great. There were ample amount of nice dishes and glasses. The place itself was spotless and it had good storage. We liked the nice touch of there being a electrical adapter and Netflix which was awesome. Checkin and out was a breeze. If you are coming to Split I would not hesitate booking this apartment.

Fantastic location - not great apartment for the$$

My family and I have stayed at a variety of apartments in Europe and the surrounding countries and sadly this was the most disappointing stay we've had. First, the good point...the location. If all you care about is location, then this is the apartment for you! Unfortunately, the not so great points are many: 1) Beds - hard as a rock 2) Bath towels - they are air dried and as a result are hard and scratchy. Sort of like sandpaper. Not fun to dry off...especially small children with soft skin. 3) Church bells - believe me when I tell you that they are LOUD, NUMEROUS and start EARLY!! 4) One set of keys - we were only given one set of keys for the doors to the building and the apartment, which made things a bit tricky The apartment is clean and pretty spacious, but a disappointment due to the above. It is also wood floors and when we arrived we were told that the neighbor under us would likely come knocking if we were loud. Um, wood floors and two small children on vacation...not a good combo for "being quiet." Honestly, my biggest complaint was the overall value. I could have lived with the hard beds, scratchy towels and church bells (not to mention a somewhat creepy entrance-way and stairs) if the price had been more reasonable. But, for what it is and what it offers, the price (in my opinion) is really too high. I will say that the booking process was very easy, and the person who met us and helped us "check-in" and bring up our luggage to the apartment was nice and helpful. I wrote this review not to bash this apartment, but to set reasonable expectations for anyone considering this apartment. When I read the current reviews I had expectations for a much higher quality stay. I would rather people be aware of what to expect and enjoy their stay, rather than have high expectations due to description and reviews and cost, and be disappointed like we were.
