"The room was clean and well maintained. It's a shame the pool is no longer in use. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Bar food was good. Always a nice stay at the Imperial. Parking is expensive at £14 per night. Good position for using the tram which was £10 for 2 adults for a days travel."

"Prime location in central Southport. Parking does get busy and was £6 a day when we checked in. A beautiful hotel on 4 floors. Some evenings have Live entertainment and a bar. Good buffet breakfast but restaurant menu was limited. Only single glazed sash windows, so a little noisy at times. But a lovely stay with helpful staff."

Royal Clifton Hotel

Royal Clifton Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Royal Clifton Hotel. Upon arrival the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Our room (347) was a lovely spacious attic room overlooking the lake and sea; quiet at night thank goodness. The bathroom was quite large too, spacious and very clean. We did not park our car in the hotel carpark as the spaces seemed a bit tight for our large car. We parked on-street (free) about half a mile (northwards) up the road."
