"Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. In all honesty The beds felt like a horse has broken them in, we have all woken up with sore backs today so definitely need adjusting (or even a mattress topper) the curtains were very thin so we were all woken up with the light first thing which was also frustrating as we wanted to make the most of the rest. "Considering the part of Southend the room was located in, it was a pleasant surprise to walk into a clean smelling room. Hosts were on hand should we need anything. Only downside was it was so warm and after a day or two you could smell the drains despite the cooler being on. Overall a lovely room with everything we needed and very clean and would definitely consider it again"
