"We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment and had an amazing experience. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The amenities were great and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The lake view was absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, everything was perfect, and we will definitely come back again."

"The hot tub wasn't hot enough. Be aware that this is a pet friendly hotel. We walked into our room and it smelled terrible and it gave me a instant headache! I called the office and they said nobody has ever complained about the smell. It had a strong cleaning odor they use to cover up the pet smells. I was hoping to change to another room. But the guy said open the windows and doors and the next day it wasn't like the first day!! The room next to us had a dog who was left alone in the room and barked for a few hours... I don't plan on staying there again! "

"Amazing location and super friendly staff at this funky fun approach to the non-casino and non-resort option for South Lake. I went as a solo traveler and appreciated all the communal areas and attached beer garden. My first room had an issue with the heater so they moved me to a new spot with no questions and just apologies for any inconvenience. The little coffee bar in the lobby isn’t bad either."

"Very family friendly with available amenities. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to extend another night. Clean room, the bed was comfortable, and staff were really nice and accommodating. Will rebook in the future!"

"I would give Marriott’s Timber Lodge an overall rating of 3 out of 5 stars. The best parts of the stay were the location, cleanliness, and staff service. The hotel is in a great central area with easy access to shops, restaurants, and nearby attractions, and it is not far from the lake. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff members were helpful and professional whenever assistance was needed, which was definitely a highlight of the stay. The pool was warm and enjoyable, and the jacuzzi area was a nice amenity for relaxing after the day. The downsides were mostly related to value, convenience, and room issues. The room was expensive for what was advertised as a luxury stay, but it felt more like a standard room. It was located far from the lobby on the fourth floor in the back section of the property, which made getting to and from the room inconvenient. The hallway and room area also felt poorly ventilated, with heavy air that made it uncomfortable at times. Inside the room, the bathroom door lock was broken, the TV had no remote at first, and the television was unplugged. Another disappointment was that no breakfast was included or available in the morning, which would have added more value to the stay. While the pool and jacuzzi were nice, several jacuzzis were under maintenance during the stay, leaving only a few available. Parking was another major drawback, since valet was the main option at a high daily cost. Had to use public parking area."

"The wifi did not work but they gave us a small refund for that. The heat/ac unit was so noisy is sounded like a strong wind blowing when it kicked on. No ice on premises. They did respond immediately to all questions. The whole outside looked a little shabby and run down. "
