This is a beautiful hotel. Everything is first class. With views of a park & pond, it also has easy access to the highway and to Sneek Center.

A bit mixed feelings, on one hand, amazing food, room big and specious, on the other hand the room was so very cold, even with extra blanket. And lastly the room had crappy view on scafolding and some construction materials. It would be nice if someone mentioned it and apologised when checking in, I understand hotels may have some work going on but just saying.

Nice and cozy
Beautiful hotel and nice stay. Due to covid restrictions the restaurant closes around 5pm. But have a minimum menu for eat in at room. Lidl is 3-4 minute drive and could walked well.

Lovely hotel, large rooms and excellent restaurant. Be aware of rooms with two single beds in place of doubles and ground floor rooms with no window openings

Good location on outskirts of town with plenty of free parking. Larger than average hotel bedrooms and bathrooms, super comfy beds and everything clean with nice quality linen and towels. Had a very pleasant meal in the restaurant but decided breakfast at an additional €16.50 per person was just too expensive.

Lovely rooms and great restaurant. I stayed here a few years ago and the whole place has been updated and it looks great. Very good value for money.

great hotel option for my work trip
its a great hotel option for the type of work trip we had planned... we couldn't do much due to the very cold weather but otherwise room size was great hotel staff were friendly ..

we loved the ambiance of the hotel in and our. we were always made to feel welcome and taken care of. we have recommended this hotel to our Dutch friends. we would come back if in Holland again..

Nice, but not worth the money
Hotel is one of the nicer ones in Sneek. We were coming from an RCI exchange and simply staying 2 nights at this resort. We were rooms 406 and 414. Hotel parking was adequate, staff was multilingual and competent. For the price, there should be a pool & hot tub at the property. I do not feel that the experience at this resort was worth $160/per room per night. I was in room 406. The beds were really comfortable and the room was spacious. There was mold in the grout of the stand up shower and the water temperature coming out of the rain shower was less than the hand held shower head. The location to the downtown Sneek was great and the breakfast was very good but at 15 Euro per person we did not feel the cost was appropriate.

Exercise facility is off premises at local health club. Not convenient however nice grounds in area to run.

Excellent accommodations in Sneek
Very nice hotel. Rooms are terrific! Hotel is reasonably new. Location is ok but not great for walking. Cable is limited and breakfast is way too expensive for what you get. Most other top end hotels include this type of breakfast in their room price.

Excellent hotel, quiet, yet centrally located.
Allround one of the best hotels I ever stayed. I can not find any shortcomings. The staff is excellent and very accommodating, the rooms are modern and convenient, and the restaurant is superb, from the exceptional self serve breakfast to the elegant dining options. This hotel is equally suitable as a quiet retreat, with nature walking trails right off the property, as well as for the demanding business person. Highly recommended!

Ideal location to tour around north holland
Lovely hotel welcoming staff.Food in bar/restaurant was plentiful and excellent quality.Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice and good coffee.Stayed in junior suite and had no complaints .Lovely view from the balcony and although the road is quite close we heard no noise at all.This was one of the best Van der Valk hotels we have stayed in and we have never been disappointed.

Nice hotel. Out of town location.
Very nice hotel. A little way (10-15min cycle) out of town. Room was very good but overlooked the car park. It wasnt that busy but they chose not to give us a canal view. Breakfast was good but a little pricey at 15euro.

Huge room, great comfort and well appointed. Bar area was exceptional ! Freddy is a great service oriented and very nice young gentleman. Restaurant for breakfast was also very nice. Front desk had credit card processing problems and claimed my card could not be used in the Netherlands but it worked fine in Amsterdam. Lovely shopping area 5 minutes away. I will return for summer months for lake enjoyment.

Nice and new
It was my second time at this brand new hotel. Everything is nice and new, restaurant is great (serves HUGE orders of fries), and location is very convenient (as long as your are driving).
