Second year in a row coming to this hotel. Us and our three children. Amazing hotel! The facilities, the super friendly and helpful sfaff! The location and the proximity to the village. The wonderful pools and the gorgeous beach. The variety of the food at the breakfast, the spa and the new option to have the massage on the beach as part of the spa. Love this place!

I also want to name Katy ( Surangpinong) from Talay Restaurant. She was excellent. Friendly, super efficient and helpful. She is great. Our daughter and we loved her. Her services are outstanding and she was so friendly to our daughter. All staff was so friendly. From cleaning staff to restaurant staff and reception. Gearhene (I dont know if it is correct) was also very helpful with assisting to print out a document. Thank you so much.

From we arrived you could the quality of The Sands, it's beautifully laid out with manicured lawns, water features and a large fish pond. We had a swim up room which was large, clean and very comfortable, the only downside of the room was that the terrace was in the shade for the majority of the day, if you want one of these rooms request one that has sun most of the day. The site is almost split in two with quieter side that had an adult only pool and family pool with bar, then the other side has a mini water park for the kids with a number slides, fun water play and a lazy river. At breakfast there's a great choice catering to all nationalities and tastes, we didn't eat at the hotel at night but speaking to people who had it sounded very good. The staff are fantastic, always polite and friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Whether you want a family holiday, with plenty to entertain the kids, or a restful time from work or touring Thailand then The Sands is a great choice

Good hotel with friendly staff. A bit worn down though.. but over all good! A big plus was that they had knowledge about glutenintolerance and had an all glutenfree meny! Good for me as a person with celiac disease :)
