"We've just returned from a fantastic weekend stay at Blelham Tarn and would happily stay again.From the moment we booked, communication from Andy and Maggie was excellent. Their instructions were clear, concise, and made everything very straightforward.The cabin is ideally located, just a 10-minute drive from the centre of Ambleside, yet it feels wonderfully secluded, giving you the sense of being miles away from everything. We really appreciated the peace and tranquillity. The on-site pool and sauna were a huge hit, especially with our two teenagers, and provided a great way to relax after a day of exploring.The cabin itself was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We genuinely couldn't find any faults and have no negative comments at all.Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. Highly recommended. "

"The apartment is in a location, on the hillside, amongst trees and overlooking a wildlife pond.The onsite swimming pool was appreciated by our grandson, he loved it. Despite being on a holiday "site" it is quiet and feels secluded.It is well equipped, clean, warm and comfortable.We would not normally stay in a property on a site, and didn't realise this one was, but we would not hesitate to return."

"The property was lovely, very relaxing and quaint. The only problem with the weekend was actually locating the property, the post code isn't recognised and the property really is in the woods, none of the locals had heard of it when we asked at pubs / shops etc. A hard copy in the post with few a photos of landmarks en-route (pub, car parks, entrance to country lanes etc) to form a pictorial guide would help tremendously. Note the mobile reception in the area is quite iffy, print off all the instructions given by Sue the host.Also, when using the Vrbo app, the number / link given to contact the host said not recognized. All the above taken into consideration, the property and area really are worth a visit."
