"This is the place where you can reset your body and your mind. I stayed 4 nights and i did enjoy the beautiful garden and the walking in the sierra. The house is a perfect starting point for trecking and cycling.The beachs are 5 min drive from the house or 15 min cycling ( be ready for uphill). I ll be back soon ."

"The apartment was great. Elisabete was so welcoming and it was decorated beautifully to feel like a home. Parking was available but generally needed to use the nearby lot which was not far but when carrying luggage it was helpful to know that. We could easily visit several things we wanted to do including the electric tram and visit to the beach resort and the art museum. Elisabete was always quick to respond to my questions."

"Emplacement parfaite pour visiter Sintra, Cascais, Bélem et Lisbonne. Nous avions une voiture et toutes ces villes sont à moins de 25 minutes. Stationnement facile si vous rentrez avant 18h après c'est plus compliqué. Le locateur nous avait dis que nous pouvions stationner sur la rue en tout temps mais nous avons eu une contravention à la 3 ième journée et n'avons toujours pas compris pourquoi. "Paula is such a sweet hostess, and we enjoyed our quick overnight stay…with only one exception….the barking dogs may be a natural part of the country landscape, however they were quite loud and barked very late at night….and a friendly reminder….remember to pack light for overseas travel…narrow and steep stairs seem to be everywhere!"

"Fernando made us feel very welcome and was helpful from the very beginning with recommendations of attractions to visit, restaurants and how to get most out of our trip. "Casa Pendoa is a beautiful place and we appreciated the option to store our luggage the day of our check out so we could continue our exploration of Sintra. This is a very clean apartment with lots of natural light and a close walk to the National Palace and lots of shops and restaurants. We did however experience no hot water which was a disappointment."

"We enjoyed Sintra and it was really nice to take the train from Lisbon and walk a short hill to this location. We saw lots of sights over our 2 day stay and felt that was more relaxing to stay over than single day trip. Montserrate was our favorite. Beautiful walk and lush gardens and less touristy. My only heads up to fellow travelers is that the street can be noisy (the train was completely fine — it’s pretty quiet). Between the street noises of people and cars, I had a hard time sleeping...

"Great location to explore Lisbon. Bruno was very helpful throughout the trip with our questions. gave us a great introduction to the Deco Gem. The beds were comfortable and it had a great living area to relax in after a busy day. As noted in other reviews, their is a new bar open below the apartment that is loud at night. We came prepared with earplugs and sound machines and were fine."

"We didn’t feel welcome with the check in person which is not the host, but the host is very helpful and respond very quickly, he was very kind to get the mail and delivered to us. The place is clean and new but the outside doesn’t look very appeal. There is not enough dish soap and trash bag to use during our stay. We struggle to find parking spot everyday."

"We stayed in 5 rentals in our 3 month stay and this was the best. There was lots of room for 5 of us, everything was sparkling clean and there were nice matching dishes. The bathrooms were a dream. We loved the little gifts left for us. We loved Sintra and the location of the condo was close to the activities and only 1 block from the train station. We used the restaurant and bakery recommendations and loved them. We would definitely return. The only negative was needing to unplug the coffee pot...

"The hosts were absolutely incredible from the moment we booked till the moment we left - they went above and beyond! Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so at home and comfortable.
