The pods were great, quiet and comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The self-check in and app as a keycard didn't work very well (disabled 3 hours before checkout) and a normal keycard and check-in process would have been more convenient. Other than that we were pleased it was a great location

Two minor problems for me: 1) washroom too far for me (compared to my home 10 feet) considering I usually went to washroom during during middle of night 2) no hand towel (so either used toilet paper or foot towel on floor) Notwithstanding the minor problems overall everything excellent. I would stay again.

Had an amazing and very convenient stay. walking distance to MRT station, close to shopping centre, & lots of dining options near the hotel. The lady at check-in and the staff in the bar/dining were friendly and helpful.

Did all the basics expected of a capsule hotel.
Solid capsule hotel. Comfortable, clean bed and two pillows provided. Excellent capsule design with drop-down small table if needed and plug point access. Was in a lower bunk and could not really hear the person above. The capsule's draw-down blind blocks out light effectively, and the room switches to low-lighting at night. Lockable space (with a key card) below the capsule. Clean, ventilated showers with toiletries provided, and did not get noticeably dirty after being used by many people. Basic breakfast on offer (but you are right in the middle of Chinatown and its many delights).

Very cramped rooms and bathrooms. Although the cubes were great with total privacy. And the beds comfortable for sleeping. Washrooms were a hit and miss in terms of cleanliness. Breakfast was great choice of selection for backpackers.

When you keep in mind that this is a hostel style hotel, and the price that you’re paying, you really are getting a great value. The service is helpful, accommodating and quick to act. They offer a buffet breakfast for 3 hours every morning. The bathrooms were always clean. I also liked how you could serve yourself free water and ice rather than having to buy or ask someone for some every time. My only privileged issue was that inside your bed cube there isn’t air. The rooms themselves are well air conditioned and cold, but I wish there was a little fan or circulation of this into the cube itself. I but again this is a not a dealbreaker.

CUBE Boutique Capsule Hotel should be renamed to CUBE Boutique Capsule HOSTEL. There are no private rooms, only dormitories; and all the facilities are shared. For example, you will be sharing the: dormitories, bathrooms, and co-working space. For the price paid (approximately SGD$58.00 per night), the stay was excellent value for money. Breakfast is included (7:30am – 10:30am) but the choice is very limited. Included in the breakfast: three choices of cereal, toast with several spreads, two options of fried noodles, two selection of fruits (watermelon and oranges), water, as well as coffee and tea. Wifi is included, it is extremely fast and reliable. Conveniently, there is a laundry room guests can use for free. There is one washing machine and one dryer available. Laundry powder and bags are provided. The hotel is located in the heart of Chinatown. There are a variety of restaurant and hawker stalls along Smith St, as well as several 7/11 convenience stores less than 1 min away by foot. Notably, there is a restaurant directly below CUBE called Hawker Chan. It is the world's first hawker shop awarded one Michelin star. For transport, the MRT is less than 1 min away by foot. From the Chinatown station you can visit various points of interest in Singapore. 3 stops will cost you approximately $0.92 with the MRT card.

Great location in Chinatown
Great locationVery central location2 blocks from the Chinatown MRT, across the street from the Chinatown hawker center, above a famous soya chicken place, 1/2 a block from lots of bus stops. The bathrooms could be a little bit cleaner - there was always a lot of hair in the drain. The capsules are pretty good, but since it is outside of a hawker center, there was a little noise on Friday and Saturday night (not "people partying" sort of noise, just "lots of traffic" sort of noise). The capsules on the 2nd floor have an odd setup where you have to go into the lobby or up the stairs to the 3rd floor to get to the showers.

Glorified hostel
Similar to hostel...so...no privacy except in the cubicle/capsule, communal bathrooms (while individual & private, some better than others), no TV except communal, basic breakfast choice and same for 3 mornings, poor lockers (altho electronically lockable, a few shakes/rattles of the doors loosens the latch which then allows both doors to pull open.

Solo Travel without a Hassle
My stay was amazing. The location is very accessible to public transport and to hawker centers. The capsule itself exceeded my expectations. Overall, my Singapore vacation was made more memorable because of my stay at Cube.

This was a very affordable option if you're staying in Singapore and want to make the most out of your holiday, but are not planning to spend too much more time at your accommodation than to sleep and shower. I stayed here previously in 2016 and found the staff to be very friendly and amenities to be great. However, staff not overly friendly this time and amenities are showing wear and tear. The pros: - Good location, near an MRT, in the heart of china town - Very affordable - Clean and simple - Surprisingly quiet given it is in a dorm environment The cons: - Bed not that comfortable - Air-conditioning in the dorm room is excellent but little airflow in the pod itself - Staff not particularly welcoming In all, if you're after a good BUDGET accommodation in Singapore, this would have to be near the top of your list. It is what it is, and nothing more.

Try to avoid No. 24 (Banda room) as it is right beside the door. It’s so much hassle to need to give way for people to come in and out while I am sorting my stuffs in the given locker under the beds. And the stairs to my upper decker is also right beside the door and may be hit by the door opened from outside while climbing up. Otherwise facilities are good. Walking distance to Chinatown MRT station & lots of eatery
