"It was very spacious and peaceful. They supplied us with eggs from their free range chickens which was nice for breakfast. We had a party of 7 with 4 adults and 3 children and we all slept well there. It's also nice having two bathrooms with showers. "

"Had a great time! My wife and I took three of our grandkids to visit the Ape Cave, and Mt St Helens, which are both about an hour to 1.5 away. The house was great. Very comfy, and stocked with everything we needed. Castle Rock is a short 10-15 min drive, and Kelso not much further if you need a mall or movie theater. It is right on the lake, with it’s own private dock. There is a 15’ canoe for your enjoyment as well. "

My immediate family stayed at this Place while the others found suitable places nearby. The backdrop of the mountain was perfect for the outdoor ceremony. "My family stayed over Thanksgiving break. There was a window of fantastic weather with clear skies. We would start the day with coffee on the porch, watching the ducks play in the lake. Then we daytripped to Portland to hike. We drove up towards the mountains for breathtaking views of Mt Ranier and Mt St Helens. Then we would come back and cuddle up by the fireplace. Kara's home feels just like that - home. We would love to go back there next winter, or even during the summer to enjoy the lake....
