"Stayed here for a family event with my extended family. The room was spotless if a little dated. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean and the shower worked well. It does need a little investment, the furniture and furnishings are tired. Breakfast was good if limited in choice. All the team were pleasant. If you're looking for a comfortable, unflashy stay this hotel perfect."

Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. Book a cab in advance, as many cab “companies” are just a single driver and waits can be long when it’s busy. Host offers a variety of cereal in the morning. "Kingfisher Nook was idyllic to say the least! Spotlessly clean, and a lovely welcome from the owner which included a vase of flowers, some cookies, and a personal message in scrabble letters on the fridge! Everything you need is provided for.
