"I booked the Nomad Temple Tulum hotel but we didn't stay in the Nomad Temple Tulum hotel because upon arrival we were told that hotel was closed because of noise from neighboring construction. While I appreciate that this is an issue they could have told us this beforehand and not surprise us with it on the day of arrival. So we stayed at the partner Be Tulum hotel which is nice but not what I booked. Instead of a Beach View room we did not have a beach view. So instead of settling into the place you have been looking forward to, based on pictures and reviews, you now have a different hotel that the person at reception keeps telling you "is also nice", and you have to weigh your options and level of aggravation that you want to deal with. In the end we had a nice time and Be Tulum is a nice hotel, but springing this on people as they arrive is not the way to do this."

"My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Gitano!! Upon our arrival, we had an extra charge on our card that was reversed immediately by the concierge staff. She was very sweet and apologized for the accidental charge. We upgraded our room before we arrived and it was so worth it! We stayed in the oceanfront suite with private pool and the room was gorgeous! We did have to ask for our pool to be cleaned once since some of the leaves and little buds from trees kept falling in and there was no net for us to clean it ourselves, but the staff was incredible with immediately getting on this and coming to clean it! All of the staff here were so great and so helpful with everything we needed. They were all so attentive and friendly during our stay. They all celebrated our recent engagement and my birthday during our stay here. They offered us drinks and a celebratory dessert! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this resort to others!! The pool is beautiful and the beach is stunning even with some seaweed we had in June. 100% will be coming back!!!"

"I stayed in this hotel for 7 days. The room and setting were good and the customer service was excellent, they always answered my questions and helped me when I needed it, room service always answered right away and the food was in my room in minutes. They assisted with every question about recommendations and hotel amenities. There’s a couple things that I would like to highlight, a hold of $150 for each day of your stay is made on your card which was not disclosed anywhere before we arrived. All the snacks/ drinks in the room are kind of pricey and not included in your stay which is kind of crazy since the price of the stay is already high. We had plenty of raccoons visiting, the only issue is that they peed in the pool and were getting inside, we also found a bat, we took it out so it wouldn’t drawn. But I would not recommend getting a room with pool if your skin is sensitive. The water went out almost every day at certain point of the day and came back after a while. The light also went out a couple times during different days. Internet connection is not the best but not the worst. The hotel food is pricey and is not very good. The location is a little bit far from everything about 30 min from the main restaurant/ bar locations. But I do got to say that the room was always clean, they come clean your room twice a day and they are super friendly! The staff from the massage area are also super nice and sweet people and the massages were amazing. We had the best sleep."

"Sana is paradise! Not only is the hotel pristine and gorgeous to look at, the service was fantastic too. We had a late check in due to travel times and the staff had placed our pre-ordered dinner in our room, warm and ready for us to eat. Additionally we were upgraded for free to a Luxury Riad room with a pool which was such a wonderful surprise on our arrival! We miss the overnight oats already, and Claudia’s wonderful passion fruit margaritas which were always served with a smile! We’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Tulum and would love to come back in the future."
