"The facilities were dated, which I knew going in. But I wasn’t prepared for the level of decline: none of the restaurants/bars were open (permanently, it seems), the front desk was hardly staffed, the lobby wasn’t an inviting place to spend time. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the onsen (hot spring bath). But no meals was unexpected & a bit inconvenient. "The hotel was amazing! Just driving to the guest house to check in, we saw Mt. Fuji. The staff during check in were so friendly and kind. Our room was magnificent! It was huge! The in room open air onsen was so wonderful. We could see Mt. Fuji as we relaxed in the onsen. The hotel was really clean and well maintained. We loved our stay, and wish we would have booked more nights at this awesome resort. "
