"Very traditional ryokan, excellent kaiseki dining and a lovely onsen including 4 private onsen options. Property is a little run down and I’m pretty sure that I could smell a stale cigarette smoke in the hallway and the bathroom of our room🤔,but overall a very pleasant stay! Thank you! "

"If you're looking to get away to quiet serenity then this is a lovely place. It is removed from easy access to activities in the area, other than the outdoor sculpture park, which is EXTREMELY worth a visit, but it was a beautiful location to spend a peaceful break in the midst of the big cities on our itinerary. "
