"This is function more like BnB than an actual hotel. The check in was confusing, staff were non existence, there is only one bus line that run every 30min, and completely stop about 8pm. The sidewalk is narrow and share the same road as cars, it's especially dangerous at home with limited views. There are no diner nearby and everything closes at around 6pm. "

"It was nice staying at this guest house Shirahama. It was only a few minutes drive from the Shirahama Beach. Also the restaurant was nice. Breakfast was only 500 Yen, but it was really delicious! The staff were polite and friendly, and the room was clean and quiet. I will definitely stay there again."

"Positives: - The owner is a kind, sweet old man who treats you like a guest in his own house. - The rooms are large, with the -02 rooms being especially large - The -01 rooms come with a view towards the ocean (though not exactly an ocean view) through large windows, with blackout curtains. - The beds and pillows are comfortable, even by Western hotel standards - The rooms seem to have been recently renovated, and are cleaned well.
