"Vey quick check in and check out.Small single room with excellent amenities, night dress, slippers, shoe polish, spray and very clean. Very convenient, just opposite of Kyoto Train Station. All kind of transportation available. Excellent for money paid. Thanks."

"The Cross Hotel was a tranquil oasis in the lovely city of Kyoto. Close to the River, it’s associated eateries and equally close to the shops and business of the main city it was the perfect location for us. Walkable to two major train/subway links, it made getting to various sites of interest easy. It was also with a quick wander to Nikishi market-with lots of tasty treats to try. The hotel itself was well kept and smelt like a spa! The check in and out were easy and seamless with machines to use in a variety of languages. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean and the whole hotel was quiet and calm. The lobby had free coffee and a cafe. The room we stayed in had 3 beds and a wet room. It was well appointed with all amenities needed. "

"I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. The room was very sleek clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The bakery in the lobby was a quick easy way to grab a quick tasty bite before going out for the day. Rooftop bar was very nice. It’s located near the more traditional neighborhood , and was about a 20 minute very pleasant walk to the lively night life district / pontocho alley area. It was a short walk from Kiyomizu dera temple which was awesome to visit . Only downside was it was a bit far from Kyoto station, and with our bags, we opted to take a taxi every time we went to and from. There were some smaller metro stations close by but some of the larger ones to get to the big attractions we taxied to. Overall a small inconvenience and would still likely stay here again!!! "
