"We had a wonderful stay at Jamaica Tamboo Resort. The staff was very warm and friendly and the room and common areas were clean. The AC was cold and the hot water was hot. The coffee shop on site has the best cup of coffee on the island. Highly recommend! Very affordable and excellent value for the price. "

"Not a five star resort but the staff is definitely 5 star. Rooms are clean, but old Jamaica vibes. Shout out to the staff, Jennifer, Vanessa, Marie and everyone else in the bar area. Mike does an excellent job keeping the beach cleaned and organized. And thank you to everyone behind the scenes that we don’t interact with daily."

"This is a quaint quiet small hotel even though it is an older property.The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved sitting on the porch in the morning. The garden area was lush with greenery. Very relaxing. It was a little tricky to find. You have to take an alley to get there as the location is between the beach and the main road. The little restaurant was closed as they are still undergoing repairs from the hurricane. In fact that morning they were there doing the repairs. The room is basic but clean. We weren’t looking for fancy as we are in Jamaica for the beach. There are many beach bars and restaurants near by and a cute little coffee shop around the corner on the main road. There is a dorm size fridge in the room with small freezer. We would stay again."

She is beyond a sweetheart and very helpful!! ❤️This by far is the best Apartment style home where I felt safe and like as if I was surrounded by family! You will not make a bad choice by staying here for your vacation. It is in the center of everything car rental, grocery store and 7 mile beachfront is literally a walk across the street easy access!! I give this property a 10+"

"Do not book, reserve, look at, or goto a place which is not listed on the map, where the host has no contact information, where your the only guest in an unlit, non electric receiving establishment, where the host is using your funds for whatever reason other than providing the service you paid for. This listing is misleading, inaccurate in it's operability, and standard in which it appears on any site. What is the name of the resort.? It's not Roots which is right across the street."
