Riu Negril exceeded our expectations! It provided us with everything we could have wanted in a family vacation and then some! Highlights include a wonderfully kind and competent staff and an incredible beach. Be sure to bring your snorkel and mask -- there is plenty to see right off the coast of the hotel!

The staff were amazing, so friendly! The beach was ok but you are in a cove. Room was clean. Food was ok lots of varieties for everyone but nothing I would say was delicious !! Alcohol isn’t the best, Drinks are good tho, they only have red stripe beer. I would definitely go back there again.

Great resort very clean, friendly staff. The only complaint I have is the beach is more like a lagoon. The water is perfectly flat beautiful to look at but as soon as you step in, it feels like a lake, murky after a few feet,& your feet sink into the sand like mud and it’s barely 3 feet deep until the ropes. Great for little kids, but a 10 minute walk down the beach brings you to the Riu tropical with a beach that looks and feels perfect

The entertainment crew was phenomenal, the pools were refreshing, and the food was pretty good. Gorgeous and pretty large beach area. In a little cove area so barely any waves. If you like being in the Ocean- this is the place. Bring along those hammock floaties and before you know it a whole afternoon has passed!

The room was super clean and spacious with everything as advertised. The beach was in very good condition considering the hurricane was just 90 days prior. The staff, as the natives in Jamaica always are, was amazing. The reason we come to Jamaica every year is because the people are friendly and welcoming. You can't possibly pay them enough ! if I had any complaints which I really don't , I'd say the food at your restaurants is sub-par. The steakhouse cut was too thin and not very good quality steak. The Italian lasagna was not good at all. Stouffer's frozen lasagna is just as good. Also the venue for the Italian place lacks any character and suffers from the lack of fresh air. It has a great location looking over the beach, but it needs more ambience. The voices bounce off the windows, and it is unpleasantly loud.
