The beach is outstanding and the pool is large and beautiful. The grounds are immaculately kept. The food was ok. There was not enough entertainment at night - mostly only the Piano bar which was fun but after a few nights it was redundant. Water sports were included and the guys running the show were awesome. England, O’Brian and O’Jay were experts in the water and made you feel very comfortable. The location on Bloody Bay can’t be beat. Fully enjoyed our stay!

The beach was beautiful and the water was nice and warm. The food throughout the resort other than the one lunch grill place was great. The lunch grill took a very long time and wasn’t very good. We paid for a beach view upgrade but the room did not have any beach views unless you went outside on your balcony and sat on the far chair.

My husband and I enjoyed every moment of our stay here. The staff was attentive. Their eyes were constantly on their vactioners. We were asked continously, «are you alright, do you assiatance with anything, can I get anything for you. Our room was serviced daily. The food was excellent. The beach was clean and the water waa calm. I would stay here again.

The room was very clean and cleaned perfectly every day. The beach amenities were absolutely great. The catamaran and snorkeling and the glass bottom boat were all included in our all-inclusive package, which really made it nice. The beach was very nice. The dinners were very nice. We will absolutely go back. The staff was always very pleasant to be around and always had a smile and always talked to you and asked how you were doing. If you had any questions, they were happy to answer them.

The excellent parts: food was top notch in otahete and lychee. Shonda, moveta, and orelle at the pool bar are absolute rock stars. The property itself was very comfortable, great beach, and amenities. The only part that wasn't great was the organized entertainment. I actively looked for the games and things daily, and somehow missed every single one...while in the area at the right time. The only bad part was the bar staff at cassava made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Idk if I was doing/using it wrong, but I tried it 3 diff times, and walked away feeling the same way each time. But that was such a small piece of our stay, I wouldn't let it deter a repeat stay.

This was an amazing trip!! Staff added little decorations out of the clean laundry on the bed. Couldn't be happier. Staff was really nice and energetic. Always had an answer for you. Rooms cleaned about 2 times a day. Drinks delivered on the beach. Vendors kinda hastled but not if you tell them no and really good pricing for their goods. Great food. If you are looking for paradise with amazing people and a great atmosphere, look no further!!😁

We’ve been to other Couples Properties and always have had a great time. When we booked we did realize that it was “hurricane season”, but if i would have known that because of the low occupancy things would be different at the resort i might have thought twice about booking. First, not all the buildings were open. They said they were using the slow time to do some refreshing of some of the rooms. Our dinner choices at night were also limited due to the low occupancy (not all of the restaurants were open). A lot of the activities during the day didn’t happen. It took 3 calls to the front desk to have someone come and stock our mini bar. That being said, the beach is absolutely beautiful. The pool and swim up bar were great. For the most part the people were friendly. Our room was as expected. However it wasn’t really beachfront, it was more beach side view. I’m not saying that i wouldn’t go back, i just would go back at the end of August. I would like to see what the resort is like during the high season before i make my final decision.

The resort is intimate, easy to find restrooms, restaurants, lobby. We stayed the week of 8/8 through 8/16, low occupancy. There was plenty of space on this beautiful beach to set up your personal heaven. We have been to many resorts; this is where Couples seperates themselves, the key bracelet, no door key card they you have to keep track of!! No dumb towel card, that you have to turn in to get fresh towels and at checkout time. No towel drama at all, grab and leave your towels, go get fresh ones, excellent. We upgraded to a suite, my god, the best room we have had in 20 years of travel. We would always get a standard room and save money. This room was worth the budget buster, pure pleasure. Staff, very attentive to everything you need and the people of Jamaica aways show respect and love even through the hardest of times. Front desk excellent efficiency, check in was a breeze. The food was very good. There are always some food items that miss the mark, for the most part very good. food temperature, excellent, texture and taste were on point. Now that I am home, have to catch up with all those others who have mastered the year after year repeat stays at Couples Negril!!

Overall, a great hotel rooms are very small. Staff was a bit cranky understandable considering what they went through with the hurricane food was better than average not great. The beach is one of the best I’ve ever been on.
