"We had a wonderful stay at Shilla Stay Seodaemun. The location was excellent! It was very convenient for getting around and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Our room was just perfect for our family: clean, comfortable, and well-suited for our needs. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again!"

"Good quiet and safe location off Main Street. Easy access to metro. Room is clean and spacious. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and clean. Shower is hot with good water pressure. No face towels. Thermostat is a little hard to figure out. Elevators can be slow in the morning breakfast and checkout hours. Room safe was not bolted down to the wall so didn’t use it. Breakfast has large western and Asian selections. Overall a good value for a new hotel."

"I didn't much appreciate the very rude evening receptionist. She is the taller, tanner one with the very apparent nose job. At first I thought I was imagining it, but this woman rolled her eyes at me when I asked her for the pool code (she didn't give it to me during check in). There a few other snarky things she did, but I'll just leave it there. Very unprofessional in a service industry. One evening the restaurant was closed, the other evening the pool was closed. Breakfast was Ala cart, and selection was small and really not that impressive. Basically some bread and pastries. Room was fine, everything in working condition and clean. Location is ok. You're basically in city hall with lots of govt and official buildings. Samsung campus is just down the road. I won't stay here again, lots more hotels with better service and pricing. "

"The room and bathroom was clean. The bed and bedding was comfortable. The room was quiet. The temperature and humidity of the room was good (No weird smells, if you know you know!). There were plenty of outlets for charging. The staff could change over to English flawlessly. Staff held our carry-ons after checking out so we didn’t have to tote around our luggage. Area was right in the midst of Nightlife in Seoul. Lots of shopping and restaurants. The only issue we had was finding the entrance after hours even with their signage on the main entrance. Just walk ALL the way around and you will find an entrance to some elevators at the basement level. Entrance is safe, there is no way to get into the room areas without going through the staffed lobby, then you need a keycard to use a different set of elevators that are used to access rooms. Also, keycard is put into a slot at the entrance of your room to turn on the power to lights, etc. Hotel and the area was beyond expectations! "
