"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "

"The Onsen at this hotel is its main specialty feature. It is really relaxing to go at the Onsen post your tourist sightseeing day of Kyoto. The hotel is very clean and much bigger than other hotels in Japan"
"I really enjoyed my stay here at Ryokan Sawaya Honton. For me i wanted an authentic older style accomadation, and this place delivered. They do have washing machines and dryers, so you can do yourself when it suits. Its clean and quiet, and on a relatively quiet street. The best was the public bath at the end of the day it was so lovely to soak in the hot tub. Tattoos ok. I highly recommend this great establishment for long or shorter stays. Thank you Ryokan 🙏😊👌"
"Absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone! Room was generously sized and in a great location. We pretty much walked everywhere! We also loved the drinks machine and all the other amenities they had to offer"
"Excellent location. The rooms are nice, the breakfast area is very nice and had a lovely breakfast. The entrance/sitting are was also very pleasant. "
