"Awesome hotel. All the staff were amazing and very very accommodating. Love being by Forsyth Park. Pool was a very big plus for me and my wife. This area is less crowded than river street so if you want to relax a little more this place is great. We loved it and highly recommend."

"I reserved a room with pay at property through Expedia, I had an expired credit card attached to it so they cancelled my room without any notice. I received a check in confirmation email from Expedia the day before but was told at check in they canceled my room. No phone call or anything. Luckily they had another room available but be aware when booking “pay at property” as they consider these rooms available to others until you pay in full. "

"The hotel had water problems on our second evening there , they called to tells us we would no have water until morning, all rooms were full so they couldn’t move us but they said we would be credited one night stay and could use the lobby restroom. The water was not fixed the next morning, the lobby restroom was disgusting from breakfast people using it , the manager was not there when we checked out , the desk girl said we would have to have hotels.com contact the hotel to be reimbursed. Hotels.com was terrific to work with , they called the hotel to get permission to reimburse us but the manager Crystal would not talk to them or reply to their email . Two days later another amazing person from Hotels.com stayed on the phone with me for 45min and repeatedly tried to get them to ok the reimbursement but they kept putting them on hold and never picking up or just hanging up . The manager would not take the call , finally someone gave them approval to reimburse us after 45 minutes of trying, I think they finally figured out the representative from Hotels.com wasn’t going to stop calling. We loved Savannah but would never stay at SpringHill Marriott again nor would I recommend it to anyone. "

"As expected Hilton Gardens. Clean, refreshed/ modern room. Staff, valet and bartender((Max) all super friendly and engaging. Typical Hilton breakfast but not included (recent change) in stay. À la carte Prices for lowgade breakfast unreasonable. Go to Rhett’s for a quality breakfast. "

"We booked this hotel based on advertised amenities—restaurant, cocktail lounge, and downtown shuttle—but the reality fell far short. The “cocktail lounge” opens at 4 p.m., but only if the bartender shows up on time, which was inconsistent. There is no actual restaurant; instead, they offer delivery for an extra fee. Breakfast is overpriced and no better than a standard free hotel breakfast, though the attendants were excellent. The shuttle service is extremely limited, running only from 2–10 p.m. if the driver is available, and only to a few locations within about a mile. The driver also serves as maintenance, so shuttle service clearly isn’t a priority. Customer service was disappointing. Most requests were met with “we don’t do that” or “there’s nothing we can do,” with little effort to assist or offer solutions. Attempts to contact the hotel prior to arrival went unanswered, and requests made during booking were not in their system. Staff blamed a possible system outage with no follow-up. While the property itself is nice and the rooms are comfortable, the lack of accurate information and poor service make it hard to recommend."

"We loved the quick access to the river front, it was beyond easy to get to and from the walk way. The inn had historic charm which made for a unique stay."
