The location couldn’t be better (right on the beach), the decor and appurtenances are unique and beautiful, breakfast, wine happy hour, clean and comfortable rooms, pool, jacuzzi, and walking distance from everything “Santa Barbara”. This is a property you will travel to again and again. Staff are all outstanding, and Melody at the front desk is super helpful, knowledgeable and professional. This is a property with so much charm, you may never leave! We’ll be back again! "

"Absolutely lovely, newly renovated, and in a great location. Our room was small and had little space to put suitcases or personal items, but it was beautifully decorated and very quiet. Note the hotel's policy is that guests have to request housekeeping each day they would like it. Valet parking seemed expensive at $30/day but we did some research and discovered that is the same rate that the city charges for overnight parking in public lots, so it was fine. (Street parking is not really a reliable option in that part of the city.) We loved the location right on State Street."
