I want to love my stay at ESJ beach hotel, but it had some minor issues! I just hope if i ever do decide to stay there again its would be better. The front desk staff was wonderful! Especially the guy and the young lady with the curly red or orange hair, please keep them!!

Room could use a new paint job, rugs were so old and dirty they gave out a musty smell. But on the bright side Air conditioning was working, My view from my balcony was amazing, Area was convenient allowing beach access local restaurants and the staff was friendly and helpful. In all I would definitely give this place another shot.

Unfortunately, the room had a musty/moldy smell, and my husband had to kill about three roaches, including one on the bed where we were sleeping. The hotel also felt very outdated, rusty, and in need of major renovations. It definitely did not look like the pictures online. The staff, however, was very nice and friendly.

I wish I would have known the pool was down. I would have searched another hotel for the same price. My room was absolutely beautiful with a kitchen refrigerator etc. I also wish i knew that this was one of the hotels impacted by water shortage so you can imagine showers or the need to use and flush the toilet. Call and ask all the questions before booking.

The property was clean they get the floors mopped at all times in the lobby th egg phone didn’t work in the room but they worked with us and gave us a new room which was great updated appliances decor close to outside beach very nice

I come to the ESJ every year and Love This Hotel!! It’s a hit or miss for the pool due to maintenance but that doesn’t bother me at all due to the beach being right there and easy access to it.. Which is a super plus for me! The apartment was great staff was great as always! This Hotel is near everything!!
