"Great location - in the mix of several shops and restaurants and short walk to the beach. Nicely renovated, comfortable rooms. Staff was great. Worked hard on the upkeep of the common areas, court yard, pool. Parking was the only headache, if you don’t want to pay for the public garage. You can park at the beach for free during the day and in the residential area off of the hotel at night. Overall it was a great stay for my family. Would stay again. "

"Wonderful location and proximity to the beach - BUT... Went to Coronado with my 2 grandsons so they could play in the ocean and on Coronado beach. Hotel never advised me either before arrival or at check-in that the entire Coronado shoreline and beach is CLOSED due to raw sewage contamination from the Tijuana River flowing out of Mexico. Found this out when we walked down to the beach to go swimming and saw the "Closed" signs! Check in time was 4 PM. Arrived at 3:55 and had to wait until 4:30 for our room to be available. Air conditioner in 2nd bedroom was blowing hot air, hotel service tried to repair. Unable to fix, but said he would have someone on the roof next day. Brought us a fan, air was still not working when we checked out. Amenities? - putt putt course - about 10 feet long by 5 feet wide - really? Would never return to this hotel."

"Perfect location. Welcoming, helpful front desk staff. Love the clean room with coffee maker, fridge, microwave & Comfortable beds. Cleaning staff very friendly and professional. Rode the complimentary bicycles, and although we were grateful, it was challenging finding ones that weren’t rusted out and unsafe. Hopefully next time they’ll be in better shape. Will definitely stay here again. "
