"I was given a handicap room! The elctrical outlets were not secure with covers and I had to pay 18 dollars for parking which I do not remember seeing this in the reservation. I have another reservation there in the next few days. If it was not the fact that this hotel is close to the airport I would cancel my stay. The least thing they can do is to give me a free upgrade for my next stay."

"The property is a good stay. There are a few problem areas that are noticable. First off the wall paper is literally falling off in several spots. The shower drain was VERY slow. When I tried to use a handtowl to plunge the drain (I'm a maintenance man) I was gifted with a drain full of black debris. Made using the shower a little uncomfortable. Other than that the rest of the stay was good. "

"We were in San Jose for some hockey games at SAP Center. This motel was in a great location to walk to the game. It is close to downtown making travel easy and there were many walkable food and coffee places. The room was clean and in good condition. It has a microwave and fridge, which was all that we needed. This was a great room for the price but if you like all the bells and whistles of big, name brand hotels, you might find this lacking. The price point more than makes up for the difference. This will likely become our go-to place to stay when we visit San Jose in the future. "

"Such a beautiful, old building! The room was comfortable and clean; the staff friendly. The condition of the hotel rooms (grout, bathroom) needs attention. The windows were filthy! Location is very good."

"The initial communication from the property requesting ID and registration form feels very "spammy" because there are typos in the signature block, incorrect punctuation and grammar. However, this is a real place and it's very nice! When arriving on a weekend night, be aware the street is blocked off to traffic and the whole area basically turns into a nightclub with loud music and lots of drunk people - nevertheless, the area feels very safe and the check in process is easy. The building seems to be occupied mostly by young adults and the "quiet hours" are not respected. The unit itself is very clean and spacious, however, strangely there are NO hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms, therefore, for longer stays it would get frustrating quickly to not be able to hang towels, clothes, toiletry bag etc in the bathroom. There is also only one towel per person which seems cheap for the rate they charge. The reception staff are super nice, friendly and helpful! Overall the location is amazing for the SAP center and Caltrain station, both are easy walking distance. "
