The property and garden are perfect if you have a dog.
The property and garden are perfect if you have a dog. If you don’t , its clean and not at all doggy! We’ve visited several times and love it. Good proximity to an unspoiled beach and Rye nature reserve.

The Annex was lovely and clean with everything that was needed in the kitchen.
The Annex was lovely and clean with everything that was needed in the kitchen. We were close to shops and the beach, with the option to travel in to near by towns which weren’t too far away. Great location for our dog too as she had the freedom of the garden. Lovely place to stay and would stay here again 😊
A wonderful, cosy ,comfortable cottage with everything you could need for a short stay.local pub 31 is a very friendly place to go for a drink, sadly do not serve food.lots of places to visit,Rye is very quirky and lots of shops Camber sands is only a short drive away and a fantastic beach to exercise your dog.The secure garden at New Hope is a welcoming pleasure to have when holidaying with your dog.Cannot fault New Hope
Had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. Sid ( our Labrador ) had the time of his life. The photos are accurate. It far exceeded our expectations especially with being dog friendly. Will definitely be booking again. Walking distance to the beach, pub, chip shop and kebab/pizza shop. Short drive to a couple of restaurants. We tried the Conquerers March had a really lovely meal there and the staff were really friendly and went the extra mile especially Dawn.

Ideal location.
Ideal location. Modern accommodation. Welcome pack was a nice touch. The enclosed garden and the local area was ideal for the dog. Very enjoyable stay.
Just one minor negative, somewhere to hang clothes would be of benefit. But didn't detract from our stay.

East Sussex area would have been better if the weather had brightened up.
East Sussex area would have been better if the weather had brightened up. The week was mainly high winds and driving rain. But we managed to tour around the area, taking in Rye, Rye harbour, Eastbourne , Hastings, Fairlight, Dungeness RSPB, Tenterden and the South of England Rare Breeds centre.
There were a couple of issues with the property- the electric hob did not work and there was very little hot water in the bathroom for a wash. The shower was excellent. The owner was extremely upset and offered an instant percentage refund as he could not quickly fix the problems. He tried his best.
There was nowhere in the bedroom to hang clothes and no drying facilities for wet rainwear - we could have really used this!!
