Cozy Clean Chicago Apartment Free Street Parking Near Downtown Washer & Dryer
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at Shimmy's apartment. The place was immaculate. It is so nice to stay at a place that is so well taken care of. Our hosts were wonderful! It is evident that their aim is to ensure the guests are comfortable and are able to enjoy their stay. We definitely recommend the apartment to anyone planning a visit to Chicago. It is a big city and if you don't bring a car, you can get to the bus stop in a few minutes walk, then you can use trains to get around Chicago without any issue."

"Overall loved the space. Great neighborhood, clean inside, great space. My only 2 complaints are, 1. It smelled very strong of cat litter which was quite odd. And 2. The check in process was strange. The manager required that he meet you in person and go through each page of the binder, and go through the entire house, one by one. I have never had that happen, and it was honestly inconvenient and annoying. Luckily, the space itself was great, so I gave it 5 stars. "
"Nice hotel in a nice area of Evanston close to shops and restaurants. Parking easy in back for a fee. Our daughter is at Loyola U about 3 miles down the road so was p pretty convenient location to go back and forth. "
"I was captivated by this home as soon as we pulled to the curb. Walked up the storybook front garden path & stepped into a captivating main floor, which included a music room, pool (swim) room, chef's kitchen, and lots of cozy seating areas. Without knowing who curated such a charming, yet very comfortable, home, I imagine an artist and architect combining talents to curate the perfect home for creating relaxing. The 2nd floor features a primary bedroom w/a luxurious bath, plenty of closet space, and a comfy kingsize bed. The 2nd bedroom includes a desk and printer, in case you need to squeeze in some work before unplugging. The 3rd bedroom has twin bunks and charming decor. The 3rd floor was perfect for my teenage niblings who had their own studio apartment--2 bedrooms, a full bath, and a hangout spot with beanbags and entertainment options. Our group of 6 had plenty of room inside as well as in the beautiful backyard, packed with gorgeous perennials, a charming swing, plus a large area for grilling and chilling. We enjoyed being a 5-min walk from downtown Evanston and an 8-min walk from Greenwood beach on Lake Michigan. We also celebrated a special BD during our stay. Not only is the property the most lovely and well-equipped rental I've ever stayed in, the property management team did an excellent job making sure we knew how to use all of the available amenities.A special shoutout to property manager Chayton for answering my texts quickly and with good humor.
