"Ash Grove was the perfect place for our stay. It is out of the way and rather private. It is not in the middle of Paihia but close enough that we could easily drive in to town to eat and go on our tour of the Bay. Even better, it was just down the road from Haruru Falls, which was spectacular. We loved going on a walk along the river. We felt very much at home in our little cottage. "Adeline was as very welcoming and attentive host. She kept us in supply freshly ground coffee and lent her red light torch for Kiwi spotting. The traditional NZ bach, is ideal for getting away from all the mod cons and just getting back to basics. It is well located to Russell township and the Opua ferry. Highly recommend if you are looking for a different experience to the polished hotels. "
