Quite adequate mid-range basic motel, clean and quiet but a bit far from the centre of the town without a car. No info on how to operate TV and no aircon, nor use of pool. Cooking facilities good and comfortable bed.

The Manager was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The Motel was in easy walking distance to the Russell shops and wharf so we could just leave our car parked there. My Granddaughter loved the swimming pool. The only minor issue was the wardrobe was quite narrow so the clothes had to go in on an angle, but it wasn't that big of a problem as they could still hang up. We would definitely go back to stay there.

Disappointing

Fairly tired old motel with no view and no air-conditioning. Advertised as having Sky but no channels available. Reasonable distance from any restaurants and bars and not particularly good value for money. Only thing that sticks in my mind is reading in the compendium that the room rate doesn't include them doing your dishes?? Not sure how that rates with a covid clean between guests?

We stayed for a couple of nights at Russell Motel. The accommodation was small but very cutely furnished with comfy beds and everything else that we needed. The hosts were so friendly and kind. Didnt feel like i met them for the first time. There is a small pool that is realh cute and the girls had a dip, although it was a cold day. The location is very close to everything you need. Would love to go there again considering that my fur baby was also welcome and they kindly offered to sit her while we enjoyed lunch at a restaurant. Thanks fo everything James and family

Great stay.

We were in Russell for our wedding anniversary and it was our 4th time staying in the Russell Motel. Friendly greeting when we arrived escorted to our room it was just a great experience overall.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We were in a king studio which was lovely and spacious and clean. Only a few minutes walk into Russell township and was nice to have a swim.
