"Our stay at El Conquistador Resort was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful and well-maintained the property was. Everything was spotless, and the grounds were breathtaking. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. A special thank you to the concierge team, who went above and beyond to make my daughters' birthday celebration unforgettable. They handled all the arrangements with such care and attention to detail, and everything came together perfectly. Seeing the smiles on my daughters' faces made the celebration a huge success, and we're so grateful for all their hard work. This was an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to return. I highly recommend El Conquistador Resort to anyone looking for exceptional service, a beautiful property, and a truly memorable vacation."

Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort

"Beautiful and upscale property nestled between the beach and the rainforest. Every time we walked in the hotel, it smelled fantastic and it felt like an elevated experience. He staff were all very helpful and kind. Grounds were immaculate! Saw iguanas, turtles and ducks. Kids loved hopping between the different pools and the two waterslides. The beach sand is not white just FYI, and the surf can be a bit dangerous at certain times for kids especially. I did get in it on our last day and it was fine but there are signs to be aware of riptide currents so it’s not the best beach for small children. We truly had a great time! Did want to note there isn’t any main activity area inside for kids/families such as a game room or movie room. It’s mostly all around the pool. My kids also were wanting to do mini golf, but they didn’t have that. Would be a great addition! There can be quite a wait in the morning for breakfast and coffee at Roots To Go (yummy food!) so if you are in a hurry, just get there early as you can. They did run out of things like donuts and pastries. Food quality was excellent! There is a gift shop with a few snacks, but not much to choose from as it’s mostly souvenir and clothing items. The hotel should consider adding a grab and go convenience type store for those trying to get to the rainforest, Old San Juan, etc early or anyone needing a quick lunch or snack with picky kiddos!"

Las Casitas Village at El Conquistador

"From the moment we arrived, we appreciated the 24/7 security and were immediately impressed by the beautifully manicured grounds and golf course—it looked like something straight out of a magazine. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist and our butler, Frederick, who checked us in, provided water, and personally drove us around the resort to show us the restaurants, bars, and amenities before escorting us to our room. They definitely make sure you stay hydrated! One thing we really appreciated was the attention to security and exclusivity. Staff members regularly verified wristbands and room numbers, and the Village pools were reserved exclusively for Village guests. The atmosphere was relaxed and very couple-friendly, allowing us to enjoy the stunning infinity pool, peaceful courtyard, and relaxing music without the chaos of large crowds or children splashing around. There are numerous restaurants, bars, and shops throughout the resort, along with a private island featuring crystal-clear, calm waters, a beach bar, restaurant, and gift shop. The resort also has their own water park with restaurant and bar. Our room and ocean view were breathtaking. In fact, I’m already planning to recreate the colors and design of our owner's suite at home! Access to the rooms was very secure, requiring wristband scans for both the common areas and the room itself. Wristbands are also used for purchases throughout the resort."

"La estadía excelente. La propiedad muy bien localizada, excelente servicio. Nuestra habitación tenía cocina completa que nos resultó muy conveniente! Completamente recomendada. Aunque preparamos desayuno diario, tenían disponible para los huéspedes. Además, tenían sillas de playa, neveritas y toallas."

"Stayed here for 4 nights with my BF. We originally planned to go to Mexico but were unable to. The resort was great, like 30 min from the airport, staff was so incredibly helpful and kind they’ll drive you around on golf carts when you want/ need it. The only two negative things i have to say are that there is not a lot of space on the beach, obviously it is not an issue with the resort. It is just the geography of the island, it is very rocky so most of the guests stay at the resort pool, but the pool is very large and has a swim bar so it is very nice still. The second thing is that if you plan on eating/drinking a lot, I would consider an all-inclusive resort because we spent a lot of money just on food and drinks at the resort although we figured that would happen going into it. otherwise, it was an amazing experience."
