The property was great for us in that they provided accommodation for our two dogs at no extra charge. Unfortunately the rooms are very near to an extremely busy road and the noise went on all night. Everything else was quite ok

Very convenient, clean, includes free water bottle per person, rooms have been previously renovated, the bottom ones especially look lovely. Overall, quite nice, on a direct road in and out of Rockhampton for those who require a quick and easy overnight stay. Reception is also open until 8pm, which is handy.

Travelled with two small dogs. Room was on the bottom floor, set up for pets. Basic and suitable. Shower and toilet area was lovely and clean. Plenty of hot water, good pressure. Smokers are provided however not undercover if hot or raining. Parking was outside the door. Check in was seemless. Our room was closest to the main road which made traffic noise loud during the night.

Very very noicy. Had room towards sentral road at a stop light with lot of trucks ising engine brakes Etc. No Wi fi, said to be due to New system that day.

Very nice stay overall!
Had high expectations for this property after reading many of the reviews. It's location is tricky, as it's on a busy road that turns right around the corner along the motel, so you have to be ready to pull into the parking area at the last minute before you go around the corner. The gentleman in the reception office Richard was very kind and very pleasant. We were originally assigned room 7 at the top of the stairs which would have gotten a lot of street noise. When I commented about this, he rearranged things to get us into room 12, which was very quiet. We received a wonderful complimentary breakfast that was delivered to our room, but Richard said that this benefit has been eliminated for future bookings. Motel seemed to be a few blocks from the main action of town, but still only a 5-min drive. So glad we stayed here. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We were given the King Room which was great as we stayed for 4 nights. The location was very good as it was close to shopping & within easy driving distance of friends & relatives we were visiting. Even though the motel was changing hands & staff were reduced, the motel was still cleaned, etc. I would recommend this accommodation to other travellers.

Wow, lost for words. Upon arrival, greeted with great service and a little cheese nibblies plate. We booked the king room for 1 night. Clean, comfortable, they even popped the AC on prior to us arriving. Which, after hours of driving, was such an appreciated touch. Loved the rain shower head, and the hot water was hot, best shower in a motel I have had in decades. We ordered dinner, delivered to our room. Meals were great, dessert was yummy! Thanks for a great stay. While my husband and I don't normally stop overnight on this drive, we're glad we did. Will stay again.

Underrated hidden comfort gem!
Whilst the hotel might not look like much - the details are there. Very clean, super friendly staff and even a free laundry. Oh, can’t forget the cheese and fruit nibbles on arrival! King bed was huge and comfortable, we actually ended up staying a second night!

This property was amazing - from the fruit platter on arrival to the free laundry facilities. The staff were super friendly & helpful and the pet friendly room was the best I’ve come across.
