Best Rockhampton stopover ever!!!
My family of 5 were travelling from Brisbane to Dingo Beach. We normally stop overnight in Rockhampton. Have stayed in other accommodations here. This time this I found this beautiful 4 bedroom house was available for renting 1 night. We walked into the house after a long car ride. It was beautiful and clean and welcoming. All the beds we soooo comfortable. We could all have our own rooms any got a great sleep. Ready to head off to Dingo the next day. Mick the owner was really helpful every time I had to contact him to ask for details. He even had items in the fridge and pantry for us. I really recommend this rental. Every time we go to Dingo in future we really hope we can stay here every time from now on.

Nice place, clean and comfortable and had everything you needed for a stay in Rocky at a good price. Easy to get around with a car and good parking. Great communication from the host too!

MICK'S PLACE
This property will be one of the best short stay properties in Rockhampton once Mick completes the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area is quite large and comfortable.You can walk to Leagus Club and local hotel and shops,short drive to city centre.Was perfect venue for my two weeks work in Rocky,i will be back if its availiable next trip.

Great Place to Stay
Just a perfect place to stay. Exceptionally clean throughout, the kitchen has everything you need, laundry with washer & dryer, fridge & pantry had basic food items, the 4 bedrooms upstairs clean, comfortable. Mick is just great, the perfect host, easy to talk too and nothing was an issue. The house is easy to get to, in a great location, and just 5 minutes from the airport. Thanks for a great stay Mick. We had a great time in Rockhampton, this place helped with that being in a good location. The kitchen had everything we needed and the pantry the basic items. Beds and shower was good too. Mick was awesome and great communication.

Wow
Wow, from the minute we walked in, we felt welcome and at home. The home was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The kitchen had every appliance that you would need plus more. The little touches of bread and milk plus more in the fridge was great. The weary traveller could arrive anytime and immediately be comfortable and eat. We would highly recommend Mike and his lovely home.

Firstly, Mick is a great host, friendly, prompt in communication and on hand to help (we locked ourselves out). The house was very clean, the kitchen had all the utensils and cookware that you could need for a stay. The rooms were spacious and facilities good.

A Lovely Weeks Stay
Our week in the accommodation was great. The house was clean and beautiful and bright inside. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and utensils. Booking and communication with the owner was easy and Mick replied back quickly if we had any questions. It is a great sized house for a larger family.

Comfortable stay and close to parkrun
House was very well equipped with everything we could think of needing. I was concerned about noise from traffic on nearby roads but it settled down at night which meant for a good nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Added bonus was being a few kms from local parkrun. Mick was easy to communicate with. Would recommend this house for your stay in Rockhampton.

Mick was great - but too warm and noisy for us
Mick was great in terms of his communication and welcome. The keys were in the mailbox and the house was all open to try and keep it cool. There was no a/c upstairs and just the 1 unit about the tv. It is well equipped, but a bit tired. The house was extremely warm. Also the weather was quite humid which didn’t help. It is also on a busy road so noisy, which also meant you couldn’t keep the windows open overnight. We are from a quiet area in the UK and not used to the heat and humidity and also found the road noisy.

Hi Carole Sorry to hear the house was too warm for you especially in mid April. The irony is as I write this just 2 weeks later it is approximately 10 degrees and I wish it was much warmer. I am not a fan of Aircon’s and lived with the house open as you found it quite comfortably, the breeze from the back yard is almost guaranteed The dependence of people on aircon was a surprise to me but I’m thinking about some portable units for summer. Confused by the “tired “ comment as the entire inside was repainted just 3 years ago and much was reclined and trimmed just prior to that. The furnishings are not brand new but not old either. More interested in a feeling of home than a trendy show piece As for the traffic issue, in the 12 yrs I lived there with my windows open I never noticed it and none of the 200+ guests on different platforms have mentioned it. Things must be much different in England Thanks for your feedback Mick

Fantastic house in a great location

The house was very spacious and well stocked with everything we had need of , even cereal coffee etc. The main room was huge and very airy. The other three rooms were standard size . Fans in all rooms but in Rocky's peak summer heat some of my family were wanting aircon. Downstairs is air conditioned. My only complaint is there is no toilet upstairs which is not a problem if you don;t need to visit in the night .Unfortunately I do. All in all its a great spot clean and comfortable. Mick is lovely and easy to deal with.

Mick was a wonderful host. The house was comfortable, clean, well provisioned and we had a great stay over Christmas with our 3 year old daughter. Beautiful breeze with the doors and windows opened.

Very spacious, clean and well equipped three bedroom home in good inner city location. You can walk to the river shops and art gallery. The property was exactly as photographed. Off street parking is available via the rear lane.

Mick's place is at a perfect location, short walk to shops & restaurants, 5 min drive to the airport. His place is spacious, ideal for a group of friends or family with everything you need, good size kitchen and well stocked. Mick was very accommodating and helpful letting us check in early. Would definitely recommend staying here!
