"A very peaceful and beautiful getaway. Very secluded property with a lovely view of the river. Ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The house is well-stocked, very clean, and really cozy. The host is very thoughtful and even offered to drive me to various hiking spots. There is a very nice trail very close to the house if you don't feel like driving around a lot. I would plan to get groceries before arriving since the grocery store is a bit of a drive. Highly recommend!!"

"Pros: Very quiet, comfortable beds, pretty views and sounds from the creek, hospitable and helpful host - con: slight sulfur smell from the water at times (which was disclosed and harmless), but it didn’t last and we didn’t find it bothersome. All in all, this was a well equipped and nicely located cabin which I would recommend."

"The Enclave far surpassed our expectations! The houses were gorgeous, well-maintained, and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything to cook huge meals for a huge family. The property was extremely clean. Views were amazing. We loved the fire pits, modern grills, and large game room downstairs. We enjoyed swimming in the lake off of the floating dock. The 3 houses were perfect for our families to spread out. "The Lodge is the epitome of a log cabin stay in the mountains. The house was gorgeous and spacious for everyone in our party. The outdoor firepit was our favorite place to spend in the evenings and the porch overlooking the lake was where we spent our mornings. The steps down to the dock were our only complaint as we did not realize how steep they would be for our 72 year old family member. Otherwise, it was the perfect place for all of us!"

"We were in town for our daughter's graduation from Liberty University so unfortunately we weren't able to spend as much time there as we would have liked. It was a great cabin with a great view! We enjoyed our coffee on the deck. Our kids said how comfortable their beds were. The daybed extra room (which we didn't use) is a separate entrance from the house. "Large cabin that is conveniently located near restaurants, many popular destinations and main thoroughfares. Cabin was clean and host quickly responded to any questions we had. Very steep driveway up to the cabin (yes, Roanoke has mountains!) -- but don't be discouraged -- we soon realized that parking was available in an area at bottom of hill with steps up to cabin.
