"We loved the cozy living room and amazing screen porch. There was plenty of space for our two young kids, us, and my sister! There was a huge and super comfy sectional sofa and a great fireplace that we made an awesome fire in with the firewood that the hosts left for us. We had a great time hanging out in the house since it rained most of the weekend and was pretty cold. When it did clear up a little, the view from the dock was gorgeous! Had we not had two small children and our dog running...

"We've stayed at many VRBOs and this adorable cottage ranks very high on our list! It was the cleanest place we've ever stayed and we really appreciated all of the extra towels and cozy blankets. The hot tub and fire pit were fun evening activities, and the smart tvs came loaded with many of our favorite programs. The appliances were brand new and the kitchen had everything we needed, including an electric tea kettle. The backyard view was fantastic, and we also enjoyed sitting on the front porch...

"Beautiful house and very clean. The house is remote. Would recommend you plan to stay at the home the whole time. The lake is beautiful and private. We suggest bringing your supplies down to the lake so you don’t have to go back up and down the hill from the lake. We did enjoy our stay. We would go back with friends and family."

"The cabin was a great location for a graduation at Roanoke College. The fully stocked kitchen helped us have meals at the cabin instead of eating out. Everything was as advertised! We plan to come back again!"

"A magical sunrise and sunset by the lake. It was peaceful and quiet. The kids enjoyed the board games. The views from the porch is amazing. We were there for a couple of nights due to a wedding. We’re thankful for the popcorn we found as we got in later then excepted. The site is very well maintained. We hope to book there again soon."

"Nice house. Long walk to front door for elderly. One bedroom upstairs very nice but warm, not enough countertop space in bathroom. Small shower hard to enter and exit. Kitchen nice and well stocked. Great wraparound porch. Bedrooms downstairs very small, no closet in one. Huge house but space not well utilized ."
