The cabin was fine except for the one issue I had with the cleanliness. The dishwasher was full of half clean dishes. I say half clean because the dishwasher had been run, but the many of the dishes were not clean. I had to hand wash them first because I did not want to be blamed for putting away unclean dishes and washing them again in the dishwasher would have been futile.

Home Away From Home

We were on a little family vacation and we happened to stumble upon this gem. We fell in love immediately!! The cottage is very clean and a great little get away!! The hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed the popcorn and movie night!!! We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic. Very clean, secluded, had absolutely everything we needed. The owner Lisa, was very welcoming and great to work with as well. The private jacuzzi room was awesome as well. 100% if you’re on the fence, book this cabin.

Tuck away in WV

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The owner was very hospitable and friendly. This is a quiet location located VERY near Pipestem National Park; which I hope to go explore. I highly recommend this property for 4 persons and your fur babies.

Off the beaten path and right across the road from the amazing Pipestem State Park, in a little "village" of homes and trailers, this cabin offers a different experience to staying in a hotel. Lisa has made it a very lovely abode with all of the extra "touches" she's provided.

Rock Ridge Rentals across the street from Pipestem

I attended a meeting at the Pipestem State Park and this cabin was directly across the street to the entrance. All of the accommodations were sold out at the park & this was a perfect place to stay. I will say at first I was not sure about the area, but I had no trouble at all getting help around the area, and everyone I met was as nice as they could be!! The BBQ place that is within walking distance to the cabin is FANTASTIC! Also, taking the air trolley down the mountain to The Lodge Restaurant was AMAZING. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The cabin was essentially brand new, all the things you need are in the cabin & the owner could NOT BE More accommodating. I am planning on bringing back my husband for fun next time to explore more than I could on a business trip!!

2 BR Cottage among the RVs

Nice owner that lives right behind the rental. Charged 25 more than hotels.com priced for "taxes and cleaning fee." Wifi and satellite dish worked well. Nice beds were clean and comfortable with Window AC units only in Bedrooms so ok if you like that noise. The couches were dated with brown slip covers and no springs left so hard to get up out of them. Had never seen a round shower stall with rolling door. Never found the pool and we drove around the campground that was a mix of RVs with platform decks and cottages all interspersed very close together so did not sit out on the porch. We did venture to Pipestem State park across the street for dinner at their lodge and drove another mile to ride the Gondola down to Mountain Creek Lodge. Saw a dozen deer as we drove back through Pipestem to our cottage among the RVs.

Great find

The home was small but very well designed. Traveled with two teens, one took the double bed the other took the couch. There was a porch to sit on and the kitchen was stocked if you wished to cook. There was a firepit outside and chairs were included. You can walk to a good BBQ place and it is right across from the entrance to Pipestem State Park (which is super). So much nicer than a hotel and a great value. The area is very nice.

Tucked away off a mountain road in West Virginia, the cabin we rented for the night was more like a house. Though it is in a community of homes/campers where some people live year-round, the amenities themselves were top notch.

Cabin in West Virginia

The cabin was incredibly clean and cozy. Cannot say enough about how comfortable it was. There was a lot of rain before we arrived, so the fire pit area was not accessible. Since it is in a campground, there are a lot of children nearby for your kids. Our stay was cut short, and Lisa couldn't have been more accommodating. She even refunded our second night without even having to ask. We were so impressed with her!

Peaceful, clean and comfortable.

We have stayed at cabin c1 twice now for a week each time. Lisa is so kind and keeps the cabin very clean and filled with all the comforts of home. Everything from games to everything you may need to cook a nice meal in the kitchen. Recently she added a new electric fireplace that looks and works great on the cold nights. We plan on staying here aleast twice a year if not more. Be sure to visit the pipestem national park across the road and BBQ restaurant next door.

Great place to stay near Pipestem!

Cozy cabin experience across the highway from Pipestem State Park. Proprietor Lisa was fabulous and her family takes good care of the property. Most conveniences are provided, including WiFi access. Note that the cabin is in a camping "village", so you should not expect isolation. However, we found the area to be quiet and restful (October). The local BBQ restaurant was an unexpected bonus: good food and great service. Enjoy!

Fantastic Romantic Getaway

This was a wonderful romantic getaway. I was especially pleased that I was able to find it on short notice. Granted, it was because someone cancelled at the last minute, but we found it very romantic, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect New Years Eve celebration. We will definitely be back again!
