"We loved the Lombardy! Old fashioned doorman service, a cozy bar where we met some interesting locals and a classic room. The location is perfect. Right between 2 Metro stations and walking distance to the Mall, White House, GW U, Georgetown and The Kennedy Center. "

"I booked this hotel for my parents 23rd anniversary, and they loved it. The location was incredible, less than 10 minutes away from all the big landmarks. They loved how walkable everything was, and noted the cleanliness everywhere, both in the hotel and around the city. The breakfast was actually not free, but they managed to get plates around the end of service free of charge and said it's the best hotel breakfast they've had in years. Of course, the rooms are compact so this would only be ideal for couples or people coming alone, not suitable for families. "

The location is incredibly convenient, especially for anyone visiting the Russian Embassy – it was just a stone's throw away. The hotel was spotlessly clean and surprisingly quiet, which made for a truly restful experience. What really stood out, though, were the friendly and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home.
