"We so enjoyed staying at this inn. We didn’t know it was in a country club with access to several of the amenities of the club. The room was beautiful, the innkeeper was very accommodating and any of the staff we ran into were lovely. A short drive to the closest metro station, we spent a day in DC, & the 2nd day in the rolling hills of northern VA in wine country where we had good wines & enjoyed a lovely dinner at a recommend spot. We would stay here again. "

"We stayed in the Copper Beech Suite, which was spacious and comfortable. It has its own screened-in porch which was wonderful to sit on at all times of the day. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and attentive. And the breakfasts were very good. Highly recommended! "

"Our stay was better than I expected. The home was clean and user friendly. The second bed that was listed was actually a blow-up queen mattress but there was plenty of bedding for it. The property was in a nice area with plenty of easy parking on the street. The location gave easy access to the Metro station and downtown DC. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly."

"House is beautiful and is in what feels like a good safe neighborhood. Only about 5-10 minutes from national harbor and about 20-30 from DC. Owner was easy to get a hold of, answered quickly, and he had water delivered to the house for us which we really appreciated. I would stay again and recommend this property. "

"If you’re in DC this is a great place to stay. I don’t know how six people could stay but 5 fit fine and the location is great. Safe area, close to everything in the city and has historic value itself. I’d definitely stay here again. "

"These folks are very good communicators and the location is great. The property itself is rather run down and the front steps are certainly not up to code. Very tight inside. Okay for younger travelers but not for older folks. "
