South Landing Inn Niagara on the Lake

10/10 Excellent

"We didn’t know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised by this wonderful inn. We were warmly welcomed by Gail upon arrival and shown around the property after registering us. Our room, the common areas - lounge and pantry - and the outdoor spaces were very clean and well maintained. Our bed was comfortable and the linen smelled fresh. One of our favourite areas to stay and relax in was the lounge. We had our coffee from the pantry while enjoying the calm and chill atmosphere of the lounge chairs. It was absolutely refreshing to be able to relax in a space other than our room. We loved how easy it was to take a short drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake historic downtown and as well as Niagara Falls downtown. The best part: we could leave the craziness of so many tourists behind when we went back to the inn. The South Landing Inn is a total keeper for those who are looking to step back into a cozy, serene and beautiful space. Looking forward to our next stay!"

"From the moment we pulled into the resort we knew this was a great choice for our vacation. The property is well maintained and perfect for any getaway. Even for those travelers that may not necessarily be "campers" this is the perfect home away from home. Close enough to pretty much everything without feeling overwhelmed with tourists and the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. It is an excellent location. It's very comfortable for a family and more space than a hotel room. We loved that we were able to cook our own meals and not have to eat out the entire trip. The host was very responsive and patient with all inquiries we had. The staff at the resort were all polite and friendly and offered up lots of suggestions for places to visit and things to do. I highly recommend this property."

"We are a family with two children under the age of 7. We loved our experience. The property was clean, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was a little cold for swimming, but the place had an area for trash, laundry facility, playground, tennis court and two swimming pools. All Niagara attractions are an easy drive. Niagara on the Lake (neat town with small grocery) and Saint Catherine (beach, kids farm with playground) were even easier drives. If you want a one-stop shop for Walmart, we would recommend Saint Catherine. All in all, we had a great time. Just read the reminders and bring towels, bedding, etc."

"The place was very clean, spacious and had everything you could need. If for some reason it didn’t, I’m sure the hosts Esther and Roger would get it for you. They were very accommodating, helpful, and pleasant to talk to. I would definitely recommend staying here!"

"We love this place! It was our second stay and we will be coming every year with our family. It’s super cozy, easily fits the 7 of us, nicely contained so children can’t escape the property, has a great pool that’s warm, a splash pad and a basketball court. It’s also really close to Niagara on the lakes main road. Great staff and great manager! Whenever we go we always wish we booked longer."
