Great Muri Location
We stayed here pre COVID and I think the property has been neglected a bit since then. Still an awesome location and good sized villas but the bed was uncomfortable and the queen seemed small. Very quiet and family friendly and great being able to go next door to the Nautilus for dinner and Spa

Muri Beach is one of the most beautiful parts of the island, and this resort is walking distance from a lot of places (Captain Tamas, convenient store, market etc as well as other resorts). Staff was really friendly and helpful. Only 2 comments/suggestions: 1) Swimming pool needs to be lit up at night, it's very dark and dangerous. 2) Our beds were really soft, old and uncomfortable (springs hurt)

We had a great holiday staying at Muri Beach Resort. The villa was comfortable and had enough room for 3 people. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Having the option of swimming and dining at the sister resort next door was great. Nice quiet spot and walking distance to shops and market. The only complaints we had earlier on was our aircon was faulty for the first 3 days which made it difficult for sleeping as it was so hot and the pool was emptied for maintenance and out of action for the last 3 days of our stay but could use the pool next door. Overall, a lovely and cosy place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in a 2 bedroom villa. We had an extra bed in the living room which still left ample room for five people to enjoy the space. A stroll through the resort to the lagoon, hours spent kayaking and paddle boarding - bliss. A nice private deck at the villa to have breakfast, a gorgeous swimming pool, beautiful gardens and good car parking were all big ticks for us. We can’t wait to stay here again and will be booking another trip soon.

Disappointed but good location
We were a bit disappointed with our stay. The Villa could have been cleaner and the ‘resort’ is missing several facilities eg bar restaurant that I would normally expect at a resort. We were able to use the restaurant at the resort next door but their guests got priority. We feel their customer service could definitely be improved. However the resort is in a great location and free use of kayaks and paddle boards was great

Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay! Our villa was in a great spot and in good condition. The highlight was probably the staff: they were all super friendly, helpful, and informative. There were a few small issues with the villa, but nothing to really complain about. Our check-in was a bit awkward because we showed up early in the morning before the front desk was staffed, but it got sorted out fairly quickly. The grounds were kept in good condition and the location of the resort is fantastic -- I'd argue it's about as good as you can get on the island! We'd definitely stay there again if we went back!

We loved how quiet the resort was and that it didn't feel over-crowded. Loved the proximity to the beach and the lovely deck overlooking the water. Enjoyed the pool and the meals in the Aqua Cafe were delicious and very reasonably priced.

The reception team were really friendly and helpful. The service at the pool bar was efficient but could be friendlier. The room is a good budget option and was spacious and comfortable. We cooked a few times and had everything needed. The pool was great and food at the bar/restaurant was excellent. Recommended!

Overall stay was great, perfect sized villa for a small family. Sometimes obtaining answers to queries was a little difficult but when they were able to answer it was above and beyond. Staff recommendations were also really appreciated.

Took our 7 month old on his first overseas trip and Muri Beach Resort had all the basic necessities we needed. Pool, beach, kitchen in room so we could cook for us and our lil one and walking distance to the closest little town. Friendly staff, can’t wait to visit again

We really enjoyed our stay in a pool view villa which was about 15 steps away from the pool and bar area. The villa was perfect, and had a kitchen with x2 hobs and a microwave, although we never actually cooked as the Muri night market kept us fed 4 of the 7 nights we stayed (only a brief 5 minute walk away). Happy hour cocktails $10 between 3-5pm daily, bucket x4 Heineken $20 and $6 wines went down a treat! We will definitely be back

The front desk staff was hit and miss, one day would be someone helpful and amazing, the next would act like you’re an inconvenience. Beautiful property, clean and well maintained and found The locals to be friendly and welcoming.

Lovely hotel
Lovey hotel, not flashy but comfortable and well-appointed. With kitchen utensils and crockery so you can self-cater if wanted. Close to Nautilus (sister hotel). Lots of water sports equipment available to use for free. Friendly staff. We had a queen bed but as we we were 2 friends travelling together they happily made up a single bed.

Great value, location and comfort
We had a wonderful stay at the resort. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Our room was very private, other were private but not as much as ours, we loved it. Location is great in muri, lots of local places to eat and drink at all budgets. Use of kayaks and sup for free was great, there just isnt enough paddles. We had one bad night where there was a flood and we were told to move rooms at 11pm. We were given a clean new room but unfortunately the roof developed a leak and so a very restless night of listening to a drip every 5 seconds occurred. As other people were in a worse position, we endured it. Sadly the next day no apologies were offered, no compensation. Even a free brekkie would have been good but no, Just your room didn't flood so you can move back. Thats it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, we would go back and would highly recommend. Value for money was fantastic and we really thought we got one of the best places on muri. If we could change one thing it would be how we are treated when something goes wrong. I would have expected the manger to visit and check we are all good and offer an apology.

We stayed in a family room, the aircon in one of the room couldn’t cool the room down and kept making large noise, we couldn’t sleep well for the first few days untill i asked them to supply another room. some lights were not working, the bed was about to collapse, the cook top wasn’t working and the shower head was terrible. We had to tell the reception several times for their maintenance works. The hotel was trying to charge us $28 pp for a simple breakfast, and was trying to charge my two kids who both are under 3. We felt a bit uncomfortable and felt being robbed. The staff their were wonderful though.

Amazing hidden gem on a beautiful beach
We arrived past midnight and the lovely Margaret met us with a bright bubbly welcome at the airport. On arrival our room was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, fridge, microwave, toiletries, kitchenware for cooking, fly spray, insect repellant the lot. We were in the room next to the pool area and never had trouble with noise. The grounds are beautifully kept and all staff were so friendly and willing to help with anything. Towards the beach end of the resort is a little decking area with tables and chairs which we used a lot to enjoy the amazing views of the beach lagoon and gorgeous blue water. The water isnt very good for swimming directly out front of the resort however a short 1-2 min walk further down and you'll find lovely sand and water for swimming. On the main road at the driveway is a small shop with groceries and they also sell fresh hot meals and bakery items which we loved and found handy. 5 mins further down are shops, cafes, tours/activities, care hire etc. A very good location. We would definitely love to return some day soon and bring our kids along with us. I highly recommend Muri beach resort.

Very Very Enjoyable Stay
Was a great resort from the start. We got a pick-up shuttle from Margaret who was super friendly and took us to the resort. Our villa had everything we needed - kitchen (fully equipped WITH big repellent spray). Good size bathroom and lounge. The bed was heaven on earth - really really good sleeps. Everything around the resort is very close - the pool is right next to the bar - great for those 5pm cocktails and the beach is just in the other direction, very close! All the staff were very helpful and friendly and helped us book in all our tours and gave us good advice on what to do. Would recommend the premium option for your stay so you get your sheets/towels changed daily (if required) and you get a buffet breakfast everyday next door at Nautilus (their sister resort). Great buffet - big range of foods and fresh fruits!

Great villa, location and extremely good staff
Very comfortable and well equipped villa situated right at the beach. All staff were polite, helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Josh, the wedding planner was amazing and arranged our vowel renewal at very short notice - can’t praise him or the resort enough. Food at the restaurant was excellent along with the service.
