We loved our stay at LeoMae. It was a large, spacious and quiet 3 bedroom house to enjoy our down time in. With an open well equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area, plenty of space to cater for all our needs. The air con in the bedrooms were a blessing. The pool was a delight at the end of a hot day of sightseeing, however be aware of the bottom step the lip was very sharp. I would suggest hiring a car to make getting around easily and on your own time, however it is not essential as it is close to the main road and bus route. Thank you IIoga for all the clear instructions, being easily contactable and letting us have a later checkout time with very little notice. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was large and spaceous. The kitchen was had everything we needed The pool was a huge benefit. Some maintenance is needed with the pool as there are some loose tiles. The bathrooms could do with some cleaning. The host was lovely, easy to contact and allowed us to have a late check out which was much appreciated. We would recommend this property to family and friemds

Home awake from home
All i can say is the house is beautiful inside and outside very clean, very spacious, kitchen is well equipped, pool is a bonus. Location is spot on, away from the town but close to activity that you have planned. The beach is a 2min drive if walking maybe 5mins. You can hire snorkel gears on the side off the road. Communication with owner was superb, we extend our stay with no problems.

Such a lovely family house. Lots of space for everyone. Was so fabulous having a pool. The house was really well equipped. The air con in all the bedroom was fabulous. And ment we all got a good nights sleep respite the hot weather.

Have been coming to the Cook Islands for many years now and this is one of the best accomodations we have stayed at. The house was fully equipped with everything and very spacious. The pool, perfect for hot muggy nights. My only negative is that we didn’t stay longer. Meitaki ma’ata

Very Happy Family
Was huge and had all the comforts of home. We had loadsmof room to stretch out and even managed to host friends for the All Blacks game on the large tv! Pool was really sheltered from the wind that was a little persistent during our stay so that was a very welcome bonus. It isnt fenced which wasnt a worry for us but if you have little humans will pay to bear it in mind. Thank you for an amazing place to call home while we were away!

Well equipped house, especially the kitchen which is great when wanting to cook own meals etc. Lots of towels available. Lovely outdoor space, although some sun loungers would be a great addition. The ensuite shower does need some attention as water went out into the rest of the bathroom. Overall a great property for a group of friends. Would definitely return.

Second stay at LeoMae
We had a fabulous 16day stay over Christmas and New Year. This was our second time and this time we took friends with us who were equally as impressed. We had some challenges during our stay but both property manager and owner were very proactive and everything was fixed promptly and without impacting our enjoyment. We will be booking this accomodation again.

Wow! What an amazing house.
What a beautiful property, we absolutely loved our stay. The house is secluded in the trees and was absolutely beautiful. The pool was just amazing. We enjoyed every minute. Iloga was such an amazing property manager and was so helpful when we asked for some help. The house itself was huge and had everything we needed and more. We are all very home sick for Rarotonga and LeoMae House and know we will be back for sure. Thank you Iloga and Sholvin for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Has the potential to be fabulous
I never knew roosters start crowing in the middle of the night, 1.50am was the earliest I heard. Between them and the dogs, bring ear plugs if you're not a heavy sleeper. Dishwasher didn't work. Washing machine only works on one cycle (but I had to go next door and say I couldn't get it to work to discover this). Place needed a jolly good clean, there was dust and dirt behind doors, literally under a mat, the seals on the fridge need to be wiped with bleach (!) and walls needed a general wiping down. Both sinks upstairs didn't drain properly even though I mentioned it early on in our stay. Shower in upstairs bathroom lost pressure regularly. Found out on day three or four about the booster so we could get enough hot water. A welcome guide or users manual should list all this sort of thing. A selection of a couple of types of pillows would be nice as the only ones supplied were very firm and to big for children. Short walk down to the beach which was fabulous for snorkeling. Beach towels were really handy. Close to lots of good restaurants including Charlies that our hosts recommended. Big house, lots of space but needs a bit of attention to detail.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to do anything about the roosters (they annoy us too) but we agree earplugs are definitely the way to go if one is a light sleeper. Thank you again and best regards.

Great shortened stay
The house is even bigger than it looks in the photos. The pool is awesome. Unfortunately the Covid 19 Pandemic forced us to leave early. Iloga was very helpful and understanding. Even though she was not required to do so, she provided a refund for our early departure and even offered assistance to us when traveling home through New Zealand. Will definitely consider staying here in the future when resuming our holiday.

Lovely family property
The property was exactly as advertised and suited our family perfectly. It was lovely and clean and being back from the main road it was lovely and quiet. The pool was the main reason we stayed here and that was the highlight of our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed to cook for our family. There were a couple of minor issues with facilities during our stay but they were attended to promptly by the owner and property manager who conveniently lives right next door. A couple of minor considerations: while the rooms downstairs do have air conditioning the living area doesn't and so it gets very warm and stuffy in the afternoon and due to the mosquitoes leaving the door open at night isn't an option. The water pressure upstairs is extremely lacking and if any water is being run downstairs, including the washing machine, having a shower is not possible. Neighboring properties do burn fires regularly which did make using the pool difficult for a couple of hours every few days. Other than that, this is a lovely family property and we had a great trip.

Lovely house!
Lovely house, very spacious and modern with all the necessary amenities. The owner gave is a late check out which was great as we weren't flying out until late at night. Pool was also a hit with the kids although a tad cold in the afternoon as not heated and no fence so need to be careful of young ones around the pool area. We went when it was not too hot so temperature inside wasnt really an issue but in the hotter months, air con / ceiling fans would be needed upstairs. All in all a great place and would definitely recommend.

Modern, clean with plenty of space
This property as exactly as described. Large, modern, clean and an easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. Could be a 5 star destination with a driveway grade (a bit hard to negotiate potholes in a small car) and a few more amenities (like toiletries, and basic kitchen staples). Otherwise we loved this place. Particularly with older children, having the pool was great.

Our family of 6 loved the House. So comfortable in all respects even if the driveway was a bit bumpy. Only downer was the rooster crowing at all hours but it seems impossible to get away from them in Rarotonga.

Wonderful time in Rarotonga!
This house was absolutely perfect for a large family! Well stocked kitchen and 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms was perfect for our family of 5 people. The beach was not too far and we really enjoyed the fact that we were on the south end of the island so could go to the Muri night market 4 days a week to get a cheap and good dinner. The main grocery store is also only about 3 miles away. It is also close to take off points for lagoon tours and to the Waterfall Spa if there is someone that wants to participate in spa services. We also really enjoyed our daily visits from the cats and chickens at the house!

Lovely home! Met all our needs well and was in a great location. We would stay here again for sure!
Beautiful kitchen! Lots of space for us and we could invite others along in future visits too which is great. Really enjoyed having the pool especially as it was well covered during hot sun when we needed it to be. Nice quiet area too which was great. Loved visiting with the puppy from next door too :)
