Outside landscaping was well kept and the unit clean and tidy.Nice to have two verandahs to sit at depending on the wind. The unit was within walking distance to Te Vara Nui cultural show, Muri Markets with bus stop at the end of the right of way and Muri lagoon at the other end of the drive.A 24 hour Corner store was 1 minute walk. Couldnt access the microwave or dryer as they were both 6 feet off the ground.TV reception wasn't the best . Overall we enjoyed our stay even though it was very gusty for the first few days of our holiday.
Lovely place - clean, comfortable, steps away from the beach, the night market and in the heart of Muri. Tia has been a lovely host, very welcoming, helpful and generous. Can't recommend highly enough.
The bungalows are a great place to stay, the convieniance of being close to the night markets and shops and Restraunt is a bonus.the location to the beach is within 100 ft. The bungalows are clean and very well maintained. The only bummer is the water pressure and water flow was never consistent, our hostess Tia always responded to our phone calls. The maintenance workers were very kind and welcoming. The people in Cook island always happy smiles and friendly. I would recommend this place for sure.
We stayed for half the day for a layover before we flew out of RAR on the Island and needed a place to relax and take a shower before flying out at Midnight. I was really grateful to get a last minute booking here and they were very helpful in communicating with me and made it easy to get in once I was there. The only downside was attempting to find the property as there isn't any sign along the road indicating that the property is at the end of the side road.
The property was literally a little house with everything you would need. A kitchen a little dinning area, bedroom, and a bathroom.

Kia Orana Evan,
Meitaki Maata for staying with us.
Yes I agree too. I am working on it. The last sign got blown off the street poll due to really strong winds.
God Bless

Great location and facilities and contact with owner and ‘staff’ was very helpful. I think the property needs, what I would call, a deep clean and it’s looking a bit ‘tired’. Would recommend for couples or younger families (we stayed in 2 bed unit)

Thank you for stay with us.
I truly appreciate your feedback and will endeavour to look into immediately.
easy accessibility to beach
wonderful relaxed atmosphere of accommodation and surrounding environment
central to other attractions of Muri
warmth and hospitality of hosts
Friendly staff at Dorothy’s made us feel welcome. Handy to Muri Night Markets, grocery store and takeaways. Family-friendly accomodation that met all of our needs. It was like a home away from home.
Lovely property and close to the beach. Very clean and beautiful garden. Small living space and not much room to sit down or to have luggage near the bed.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
dryer broken, they did not clean up at all in our 5 night stay
The accommodation was lovely, with a perfect location right by the beach and lagoon. There was so much activities to do within walking distance, we didn't need to hire a car. The service provided by Tia and her staff was fantastic, she was so friendly and helpful, she made our trip much more enjoyable and stress-free.
A very nice little bungalow which was well equipped and very clean. Nice patio overlooking a lovely garden area. Only a minutes walk to a beautiful beach.
Excellent location!! less than minute walk to Muri lagoon, Muri night market, close to cafes and restaurants, excursions, car and bike hire and bus stops. Shop/Dairy next door has everything you need and ATM money machine as well. Lovely people to deal with, would stay there again!!

great spot
just stayed one night before moving into the 2 bedroom. Pick up from the airport was ok, however we had to wait an extra 30mins for other people who were staying at another property and after travelling all day it would have been great to get the private transfer that we paid for. Room was clean and hosts were lovely. 100 meters to the beach and lagoon. lots of options for dinner and of course the muri markets 4 times a week with more food options. we caught the bus which is easy , and comes every hour.

excellent value for money
excellent value for money for raro and muri beach. Muri is the place to stay as it has a few restaurants , shops, the market and the lagoon is the perfect place for people with families and water sports. villas are 100 metres to the beach and lagoon. Villas are basic but clean and comfortable. the 2 bedroom is quite big and maybe a little bit more modern compared to the one bedroom. has a big kitchen and fresh water outlet. only thing i can fault is that the safe wasn't working or the overhead fan in one of the bedrooms (there was a small pedestal fan.). there also wasnt a washing machine as advertised which was the most disappointing part(it had broken as well and hadnt been replaced), and we had to go and buy more toilet paper as they only left 1 roll for a 2 bedroom villa for 4 days....oops. It is the cook islands so nothing really ruins your stay.
We stayed in Villa 3 (1 bdrm) and Villa 4 (2 bdrm) during our stay. Both were exceptional properties, clean, tidy and well equipped. 20 metres from the road and maybe 50 metres from the door to the water right in Muri. Ariki (great coffee and art store) right at road front and super close to all Muri shops and cafes. Tia was a fantastic host and was available throughout our stay and also runs the Dorothy's Executive Taxis which was very handy. We will definitely be back again very soon. Meitaki Maata
