"A modern and spacious unit, perfect for what we needed for a short-term stay. Perfect location, close to town and the lake. It was a little noisy overnight as the unit is on a busy street but the family slept through. The kitchen had enough plates, pots/pans utensils etc. It would have been handy to have a cloth to wipe down the benches as there were only 2 tea towels. We struggled to get the lockbox open to get the key but managed to open it in the end. It was also nice to park the car in...

"Our third time to visit, hopefully WIFI will be added to the property. The neighbours dog was bold, making its way throught the back door to pull out the garbage. He wasn't deterred when shooed away, the owner heard me and took control of the dog"

"This property should be taken off stayz as the property is rented to permanment tenant we were not imformed that we could not stay there and had to pay to stay at a hotel we didtry to contact host numerous times and only got there message bank which we left messages on and we wish to get a refund of the total amout we paid for the property Unhappy customers"

"Great location in a quite street, roomy house with comfy beds. The owner was lovely and helpful and mentioned places to see. Sea views were small but patsy did mention she was going to cut back some trees. I must mention the shower was a 2/10 for pressure. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay.Thank you Patsy 😊"

"Property is fine. I did have to ask for details on how to get in on the day we were due to arrive but we received them in plenty of time before we checked in. The road noise is loud. I'd go prepared with earplugs if you're not used to being that close to traffic normally! Not something the owner can change but something to note when traveling with kids or elderly like I was."

"The bach is located in a very quiet street with a beautiful view of the mountain. The kids loved climbing in the Pōhutukawa tree and using the swings. The bach could do with a deep clean and fixing the shower but the owners have made a decent effort to put in new carpets, nice decor, good furniture and new appliances. Kawhia itself is a beautiful little town and we loved going down to Hot water beach."

"This home was very modern. Everything you needed was in the kitchen. The technology was easy to use. Street parking was easy. It would be ideal for 3 or 4 people. 5 people was a bit of a squash. One person ended up sleeping in the lounge room because the trundle in the second bedroom took up the remainder of the floor space and there were only 3 chairs at a tiny dining table. "An absolutely beautiful place, equipped with everything you need and more. We loved the outdoor/indoor set up and the eco-bathroom. The views from the deck & outdoor bath are incredible and it was very peaceful. Jan was really welcoming and made us feel right at home! Hope to be back one day!"
