"The room I was in felt like it had 'emergency housing' people staying next door which did not feel very safe."

"Overall we were very pleased with our [short] stay. So let's try and divide the great from the less so. We had the family two bed apartment and it was enormous for the price. The downside is that the building the hotel sits in was built originally in the 1800's - it is very old. Not a problem, just align your expectations. "

"Well-located in the Main Street of Raglan, Harbourview offers budget-friendly, no-frills accommodation. The pub itself is a beautiful old space with a great selection of food and drinks on offer and there was live music in the beer garden on Saturday night. Our room would have benefited from a few very basic amenities (bin, iron, coat hangers) to make our stay more comfortable. Be aware there was no taxi/ride share service in town at the time of our stay so we were entirely dependent on our hire car during our stay. "

"Check in was helpful and friendly. Free newspaper to read which was a nice touch. Pool available. Clean, great fluffy towels. The properties are somewhat old fashioned and need updating, bathrooms especially, (wear and tear etc) and a little bistro balcony set would be nice. Near to the centre if you’re walking like I was, large car park with easy parking if not. Near a great supermarket and fuel stop too. "
