"Great location however it was the only bonus. Cleanliness just hit the par, appliances also just hit the par. However couches and overall decor was sub par with big tears in them. Bathroom facilities were also underwhelming, shower not suitable for taller people. As said, location is one of the only things going for it aside from parking. As a bookabach owner myself, don’t like to leave a negative review, nevertheless this left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall very disappointing for the money...

We struggled to find and enter the property due to an error in information from Expedia and had nearly given up when we received a call from the property owner. (Telephone support from Expedia was horrible. They said they could not help and gave me a U.S. number for AirB&B, which I could not call. Very disappointing.) "I have been to many accomodations establishments and La Quinta would have to be at the top of the list for value for the amenities on offer. Very clean, all the cooking facilities, dishwasher, 7kg washing machine, clothes dryer, large screen television and a proper two door refrigerator. We booked through Expedia so we were entitled to a free drink and snack. Staff are very friendly and helpful and are willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one. The property is in close proximity to the airport and rental car companies which was another great feature."

"It would have been nice to know that the hotel was under going major building works on the front reception and dining area. The breakfast while a buffet was ok but they were no options to purchase omelettes or fried eggs. The sausages were only chicken sausages. The bar was a temporary structure, not somewhere I would sit and relax after a day out. It was ok if you drink spirits no beer on tap and limited bottled beer. The service staff managed very well considering what they are working with."

"If you're visiting Queenstown, this is absolutely the best location. It is an easy walk to all the best restaurants and attractions. And the Thrifty car hire is right across the street. We stayed for a week. We hired a car for the last three days to do some day trips. We found overnight car parking on the street but you have to pay after 9am. Some of the hotel's facilities need some work. In the laundry, 3 of the 6 machines were out of order. And the spa was out of action. We went to the outdoor hot pools up by the gondola. We would definitely stay here next time if we come to Queenstown again."

"Hilton Queenstown is hands down the best place to stay in Queenstown and has been my all-time favourite for the last 15 years (since it opened) No matter the occasion—whether it’s a romantic getaway, a special celebration, or simply a relaxing escape—the team always goes above and beyond to make every stay feel perfect. The service is consistently outstanding, with friendly, professional staff who genuinely care about making guests feel welcome and looked after. The hotel has such a warm, cozy, and luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful, the surroundings are stunning, and the entire property feels like a true retreat from the moment you arrive. The breakfast is always fantastic, with a great selection and high-quality food that starts the day off perfectly. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, which is why I continue to return year after year. After 15 years of visiting, Hilton Queenstown still exceeds my expectations every time. It’s a place that never disappoints, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Always sad to check out and keep looking forward to my next stay there."
